Reflection questions 1

1. I am not very familiar with annotations, but I did read the side notes that looked like
annotations. What I can only say about the annotations is that they are helpful in
reminding the reader about a certain statement in the sentence that takes a while to
understand. In other words, annotations are like little notes written in simple terms for
the reader. Yes, the existing prompts are useful since I do understand the article
enough.

Reflection questions 2

1. I thought over my writing process if it works well, and what have I struggled with in the
past. I think that at least the majority of my writing works well, but the only struggle I
have is trying to be understandable to the reader. I don’t know how to describe the
problem I have that confuses the readers, but it might be that I jut want to finish things
quickly, and not spend more time on proofreading to make sure my writing sounds
good. The only ways I have tried to help myself improve on writing is using third-party
applications to check my writing, such as Grammarly. Not only I use it for proofreading,
but to also check for any misspelled text. Although, I don’t think I have found any new
ways to improve my writing, but only writing classes is the only way for me at this time.
My current writing is so far so good since I am taking classes, and using Grammarly to
give me writing suggestions.
