Questions

1. The difference between proofreading and editing is that proofreading is checking your
work for any errors and changing them. Editing is making changes on your work after or
before making errors.

2. I don’t think I have a subject and a verb not agreeing with each other at this time, but I
might have some as the essay expands.

3. Verbs: Going, hiding, is, affecting, happens (2), do, noticing, getting, discussed. Only 1
verb is repeated, but I would replace with occurs on the second repeated word of
*happens*.

4. The 3 most common grammar mistakes I make is too many commas, sometimes
capitalization, and run-ons. I will avoid these mistakes by continuously proofreading
every time I type a sentence in an essay.
