Introduction
This paper will talk about the advantages and disadvantages of rapid development in
Tete province.

For preparation of this work was the need for surveys and interviews on the resident
population in different parts of this province.

One advantage of the rapid growth of this province culminate in the urbanization of the
city, this time generating better health center, schools, universities, creating more jobs,
improving infrastructure, among others . One of the disadvantages of it, population
growth, high cost of living, ma management in territorial division, internal and external
migration, among others.

General objectives
 Advantages and disadvantages of rapid development in the province Tete.

Specific Objectives
 Gather information about the accelerated development;
 To know the causes of the development of the province Tete;
 Identify the advantages and disadvantages of that development;

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF RAPID DEVELOPMENT IN THE
PROVINCE OF TETE

In the development of any province or city has had some advantages as well as
disadvantages, and how to notice the Tete province is in the process of accelerated
development sequentially because later will indicate the advantages and disadvantages,
which were collected in the population via interviews and surveys.

Advantages
 Urbanization continues the city;
 Decreased rate of unemployment;
 Construction of infrastructure such as schools, colleges, condominiums,
hospitals, clinics, supermarkets, banks, churches, hotels, businesses, places of
entertainment;
 Decreased level of literacy among children, youth and adults;
 Improving the quality of education;
 Opening of access roads;
 considerable contribution in state revenues (taxes) thus contributing to the
increase of the cake in the coffers of the state;
 Globalization of the province (increase in technology, radios, and cell phones,
television channels, internet).
 Expansion official language.
 Significant increase in the civilization of the population, with the practice of
sports, entertainment television, internet usage, among others.
 Development of sports practice with building fields, Olympic villages, sports
halls, pavilions.

Disadvantages
 Increased cost of living;
 Accelerated destruction of the environment;
 Lack of coverage of water supply and electricity demand because of population;
 Increased production rate and consumption of alcoholic beverages, tobacco;
 Increased crime generating higher mortality rate;
 Increased severe car in the city, culminating with congestion on public roads,
causing accidents;
 Capacity in health units for several reasons;
 The sewer system works with disabilities, due to population growth;
 Increased solid waste into public waterways, appearance of black water in the
avenues leading to bad smell, reducing the capacity of the bridges;
 Pollution of rivers due to increased industrial;
 Looking at the geographical location of the province is a corridor the spread of
diseases like HIV / AIDS and STDs is higher;

Conclusion
  Simply conclude that the advancement in Tete Province culminates in significant and
plausible benefits as urbanization continues in the city, low level of literacy among
children, youth and adults, considerable contribution in state revenues (taxes) thereby
contributing to the increased cake in state coffers; considerable increase of civilization
of the population, with the practice of sports, entertainment television, internet usage,
among others.

  But we have seen that match against the negative aspects are more prominent in the
sense of being more looked compared to the beneficial, because the negative index of
this growth is worrisome in many areas, but especially the Health and Police, as they
interact negatively with the effects bad this development in the case of accidents, which
in turn fill medical centers.
