Instructions This is a PowerPoint task. You are to submit the written monologue on slides
and record yourself saying it.

Background to the task:

In French, you have been learning about the francophone countries, how to say where
you live and describing your house and your bedroom.

Description of the Speaking task:


Students are to present a monologue, giving a description of
the following:

- where you live (street address and suburb)


- the type of place you live in (eg. house, apartment)
- where it is located (close by or far away)
- how many rooms are in your house/apartment and what rooms they are (showing use of
adjectives-eg. a big, modern kitchen)
- your bedroom and the furniture/items in it

Students should also commence the monologue with a greeting and sign off at the end.
