    1. Make a list of the things you will look for in your essay when you proofread.

    a. Complete sentences

    b. Clarity of sentence

    c. Wording

    d. Organization

    2. What day and at what time will you set aside to proofread your essay?

    a. The days I don’t work and don’t have any ROTC events, I take some time to

    study and do homework assignments. If the assignment is due at 11:59 pm, I try

    completing it before 10 or 11.

    3. Who will you ask to read your essay before you submit it? What day and time have you

    set for this reading?

    a. I always ask my father to revise my essay before submission, because he is the

    only other family member in my house who would understand and be able to

    correct my work. I wish to work on this assignment as soon as I get home from

    school and work. That way I can finish it on time.
