Nature Of Business

Sweerte is a small business dedicated to the art of

producing innovative and delicious products perfect for

sweet lovers of all ages. It is owned by name and name

and continuously serving good and sweet products since it

was established. Sweerte is serving mix products, sweet

pastries and delicacies.

Statement of Financing Need

Sweerte is projected to develop gross sales 1,500-

2,000 pesos a day, and reach a net profit level

approximately 4,000 in 6 days.

Start up fund for Sweerte is being requested from each

member of group to contribute 125 pesos each with a total

of 1,000 pesos.

This will assist Sweerte with start up operating

expenses during the first week.If there is a shortcoming

of budget, another sharing will be made or it will be get

on the total sale of product. Provided that the expected

profit will be divided into the number of investors, the

members. A list of the specific funding request is

detailed in later sections.

Environmental and Industry Analysis

Conditions of the General Environment

Sociocultural condition:

The demographic of our consumers is at the age of 15-

30 years old. The product are consumed by both men and

women. It has a large population, most of them were

students and in the other hand, teachers. This is

according to the age, gender and other profile of the

customers that can be segmented into several markets to

help an organization target its consumers more

accurately.

Technological condition:

Most of people were using technology nowadays. Sweerte

used mobile phone to create a website or facebook page to

post the menu so that customers can visit the page to

take orders or to contact us. Moreover, technological

factors have more affect on business environment and

because of technology trends which is more in touch with

its present and potential customers.

Economic condition:

Customers from all economic incomes are easily able to

afford to buy products. Students have the allowance from

the range of 100 and above while the teachers has their

own money to buy products. Also, the location has a large

group of people.
Conditions of the Specific Environment

Supply and Demand conditions:

If the supply increases, the demand also increases it

only depends on the price of the supply. The suppliers of

Sweerte are sometimes expensive and sometimes cheap, this

is because of inflation where the price are changing from

low to high or high to low.

Competition:

There are a large of competition in the location, most

of the grade 12 students were also selling products. The

most direct form of competition for Sweerte would be the

other Grade 12 seller and the Cantene.

The competitive factors of Sweerte that will serve as

an edge towards its competitors are the following which

are the Cleanliness, Uniqueness, Cost friendly and good

taste.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

Sweerte is a small business dedicated to the art of

producing innovative and delicious products perfect for

sweet lovers of all ages. Serving good and sweet products

suchlike sweet pastries and delicacies.

Products and Services

Main Product:

Empanada

A deep fried dessert or Crispy Empanada with creamy

chocolaty filling that melt smoothly on your mouth. A

delicious treat that you can enjoy all day long.

Different flavors of empanada including plain chocolate

flavor, chocolate with banana flavor, chocolate with

mango flavor and chocolate with peanut flavor.


Other Products:

Choco Coffee Jelly

A new twist more than the regular coffee jelly. It's

creamy and now chocolatier. Taste like Chuckie with

flavored coffee jelly.


Binalay or Dendelot

A delicacy originated from Isabela. Steamed glutinous

rice with sweetened coconut milk sauce wrapped in banana

leaves.

Chicken Sweet Potato

Mash sweet potato with shreded chicken serve with

mayo-ketshup. Crispy outside, smooth inside. It can also

serve with cheese.

Pizza Roll
Crispy bread stuffed with cheese, onion, hotdog and

pizza sauce. Tender and crispy snack rolls, perfect for

pizza lover.

Size of the Business

Sweerte is a micro-enterprises since the total assets is

less than php 3 million and employ less than ten people.

Mission

To have a rapport with the people within the community

and to send sweetness to every relationship and of all

ages.

Vision

To expand its business to entire school community and to

capture a large market and to become a global food leader


in the community by spreading smiles and sweetness

through the products.

There are students and teachers as the major physical

assets where large numbers of people gather. Products are

perfectly fit for the consumers since most of the

students love sweets also the teachers.

Background of the Business Owners

Kristel Mae Tulab

Kristel is a 17 years old, studying Senior High-School

in Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan, Junior High-

School graduate at Cauayan City National High-school.

Kristel has a passion in cooking, studied cooking and

bread and pastries making in Technical Livelihood Program

in CCNHS.

She already tried to sell graham cakes at school, to sell

fruits at different places and work at summer in a small

restaurant with a wide range of customers.

Ferdinand Flores Jr.

Ferdinand is a 17 years old studying Senior High-

school at Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan.

Completed the Junior High-School Level at Gamu Rural


High-School. Good at editing, math and at arts that can

apply to make logos. Studied entrepreneur in Junior High-

School and has an experience to sell product. Active

member in Pillarican Debate Society that can apply for

salestalking in order to convince customers.

Kjell is a 17 years old studying Senior High-school at

Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan. Completed his

Junior High-School at Our Lady of the Pillar College-

Cauayan Junior High School Department. Good at arts that

can apply to make logos and packaging.

Klarenz Ariola

Klarenz is a 17 years old studying Senior High-school

at Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan. Completed his

Junior High-School at Reina Mercedez Vocational and

Industrial School with honor. He has a passion in cooking

and already tried to make and sell products. Studied

Entrepreneur at Reina Mercedez Vocational and Industrial

School.

Joriz Jose

Joriz is a 17 years old studying Senior High-school at

Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan. Completed his

Junior High-School at Reina Mercedez Vocational and

Industrial School. Good at cooking, singing and at

communicating skills that can apply to communicate to


other entrepreneurs or business owners. Also studied his

Production Plan

Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing process of the product of Sweerte

comes with process of buying the right ingredients for

the cooking process. After that the person who is

assigned in cooking different kinds of product it applies

the sanitary care so that the finished product will be

clean and fresh for the consumer to eat, it is followed

by putting it in the filter process to make sure that our

product will look fresh and not greasy. After the that

process Sweerte also checked the quality of the packaging

because one of the factor of getting a customer is

through a presentable packaging. After sorting the

product it is ready for distribution, This business also

distribute product door to door and to give our delicious

and sweet products to our customers. Sweerte will

continue to serve and sell affordable product to satisfy

the cravings of our customer.

Sweerte consist of Classrooms and Buildings, Tables and

Chairs with a cold and clean area. There are nook and

some kubo in the place were the customers can enjoy the

products while sitting and relaxing or reading at the

nook. There are also garbage can in every building,

drinking fountain and a washing area.

market and grocery store suchlike Talavera Hypermart,

Happy Go Lucky and Morai Store. Public market sells

fresh products in affordable price, they are many choices

While the grocery store has the affordable price of dry

ingredients.

Operation plan

Description of company’s operations

Sweerte is circling around Our Lady of The Pillar

College-Cauayan Main Campus, and our target customers are

Pre-school, Elementary, Senior High school, College,

Faculty staff, and visitors. We make use of raw materials

that transforms into sweet and delicious products to

satisfy the cravings of our customers. Sweerte produce

quality products that runs through efficient screening

and safe packaging before reaching consumers.

Flow of order for goods

The process of producing and distributing the goods,

the person who are in charge in getting the order will

get the total number of orders and payments inside the

campus. Followed by the person who is in charge on buying

raw materials needed on making the product. After that

the person who is in charge in the cooking process, and

also the packaging as well. After preparing the finish

product the person who is in charge will distribute it

room to room, and after the distribution the whole

members will checked if the product distribute well

organized. The excess of the product are going to sell to

those who are interested.

Marketing Plan

Pricing

The prices of the product is priced to cover up

expenses and to provide reasonable profit. The product

has been compared to the prices of other items sold at

the said location and is reasonably priced for a

consumable products.

The price of products are the following:

 Plain chocolate empanada costs 10 pesos per piece.

Other flavors like Choco, banana, mango and peanut

costs 15 pesos per piece.

 Sweet chicken potato costs 8 pesos per piece and

additional 5 pesos if customer prefers with cheese

filling.

 Choco coffee jelly costs 15 pesos per cup.

 Pizza roll costs 15 pesos per piece.

 Binallay costs 40 pesos per 3 pieces and 15 pesos

per piece.

The formula was the number of products divided by the

expenses, then add some reasonable profit in it.

Distribution
 Sweerte distribution process is delivered door to

door within the main campus of OLPC-C. After getting

their orders, the product will be delivered the

following day.

Promotion

 Sweerte promotional strategies includes of

advertisements, door to door delivery and online

marketing. Sweerte goes to different rooms to

explain and show to the customers the products in

the menu. Sweerte also created a Facebook page so

that we can advertise and post our goods and

services as well.
