AICTE ACTIVITY POINT PROGRAM

• The objectives of AICTE student activity are to expose students to real-time life
challenges, to provide the opportunity to gather data, analyse data, propose
solutions and implement solutions. Besides, it helps the students to strengthen
their soft skills, leadership qualities and team spirit. Moreover, these activities
inculcate entrepreneurial mindset and societal commitment.
• Following are the various activities conducted by the institution to enable
AICTE activity points.
1. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
2. Save Environment-Grow Trees.
3. Feeding the street dogs.
4. Distributing Masks and Creating Awareness during Covid-19
5. Feeding the Needy- Distributed the food during Covid-19

• As we had to perform the activities during Covid-19 the proper measures were
taken. We had divided ourselves into groups and visited the areas to perform the
activities.
• These activities were performed by 2018 and 2019 batch students of
Electronics and Communication Dept. No of students with names are
attached below.
• All the students whose names are mentioned below had participated in the
activities performed.

1 SWACHH BHARATH ABHIYAN

AICTE activity performed from 20/01/2020 – 28/01/2020


The project group consisting of above-mentioned names along with the
project guide Mrs. Karthika V visited nearby area of Heelalige to conduct
the “Swachh Bharath Abhiyan” event.


Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness drive run across the country for
proper sanitation coverage and solid waste management treatment.


The role of our group was to bring about behavioural changes in public and
encourage healthy practices, spreading awareness and strengthening the
cleanliness systems. Clean India also brings forth changes concerning
investments by foreign countries leading to the economic development of our
country and its growth.


The students were provided with basic needs like Mask, gloves and ensured
that all are safe guarded.


First, we cleaned the surrounding areas, collected the garbage and then
throwed the collected garbage to dustbin.

2 SAVE ENVIRONMENT- GROWING TREES

AICTE activity performed from 01/02/2020 – 08/02/2020


The project group consisting of above-mentioned names along with the
project guide Mrs. Karthika V visited nearby area of Yelchenahalli to
conduct the “Save Environment- Growing Trees” event.

➢ Trees are the most important part of the ecosystem which helps in balancing the
climate and the environment. A forest comprises of trees and plants helps to
reverse the global warming which adversely maintain the health of the earth.

Benefits of Trees and Forest on Earth:

1. It helps in sustain all life and living organisms on earth.


2. It helps in producing clean water.
3. It helps in naturally filter air.

➢ Planting trees to save the environment is a step closer to a more verdant India.

➢ The main aim of our group was to make citizens hyper aware about preserving
our Nature.

3 FEEDING THE STREET DOGS

AICTE activity performed from 21/07/2021 – 31/07/2021


The project group consisting of above-mentioned names along with the
project guide Mrs. Karthika V visited nearby area of Karmelram to conduct
the “Feeding the Street Dogs” event.

● We are a group of students from Bangalore college of engineering and


technology. We have been feeding the street dogs.
● Stray dogs’ lives on street or in localities and slums. Many a times they
do not get enough food to eat and hence most of them are malnourished.
Local area behaviour is also a matter of concern as only few people treat
them friendly and rest as a nuisance.
● Health conditions of stray dogs has been reducing as each day passes.
● We collected money from our members and use it to purchase necessary
food items for the dogs.
● As we proceed with our mission to uplift one another, we see that there
many stray dogs apart from our area which was lacking food for their
survival. We knew that we need to raise money so that we could help
more.
● Dogs protect the locality they stay in and can be a good protector from
thieves. Dogs are the most honest and loyal animal they never harm
unless provoked.
● Please help us in realizing our dreams in uplifting the poor and needy
people by donating money. No amount is big or small, every penny
matters.

4 DISTRIBUTING THE MASKS AND CREATING AWARENESS DURING
COVID-19

AICTE activity performed from 02/08/2021 – 10/08/2021


The project group consisting of above-mentioned names along with the
project guide Mrs. Karthika V visited nearby area of HosaRoad to conduct
the “Distributing the Masks and Creating Awareness during Covid-19”
event.

➢ First, we discussed about the project agenda, approach to get the desired
outcome, resource and budget required for accomplishing the project.
➢ Masks are a key measure to reduce transmission and save lives.
➢ Wearing well-fitted masks should be used as part of a comprehensive ‘Do it
all!’ approach including maintaining physical distancing, avoiding crowded,
closed and close-contact settings, ensuring good ventilation of indoor spaces,
cleaning hands regularly, and covering sneezes and coughs with a tissue of bent
elbow.
➢ The role of our group was to bring about behavioural changes in public and

5 FEEDING THE NEEDY-DISTRIBUTING THE FOOD TO THE PEOPLE IN
NEED

AICTE activity performed from 16/08/2021 – 25/08/2021


The project group consisting of above-mentioned names along with the
project guide Mrs. Karthika V visited nearby area of Hale Chandapura to
conduct the “Feeding the Needy-Distributing the food to the people in
need” event.
• We are a group of students from Bangalore. We have been helping poor and
needy people from our pockets. Every 2/3 months we collect money from our
members and use it to donate necessary items to old age homes, children home,
extremely poor family.
• Proper Hygiene was maintained while performing the activity.
• We did not take the pictures while distributing the food in order to not make
them uncomfortable.
• As we proceed with our mission to uplift one another, we see that there many
people who are waiting to be helped. We knew that we need to raise money so
that we could help more. We want to make sure that people have a warm bed
and a hot meal. This time we are going to support an old age home which is
run in deplorable condition without the viable source of income. Please help us
in realizing our dreams in uplifting the poor and needy people by donating
money. No amount is big or small, every penny matters.

• Millions of people are starving and forced to live a life in the absence of basic
amenities. They do not have food, clothes, and homes to live safe and healthy.
Whatever caused this situation, these people are humans and it is your primary
responsibility to help as many as you can.
