working with Savannah for two years in various courses such as Apparel Production, Housing &
Interior Design, Introduction to Professionalism, Teaching Strategies, Classroom Management, and
Assessment. As her faculty mentor and instructor, I can speak of her academic excellence,
willingness to learn, and cooperative spirit.

Savannah is a hard worker. She has balanced the demands of employment, community
involvement, and her academic course load with grace and tenacity. She is always striving to
improve herself and increase her knowledge about how to be a more effective educator through
educational opportunities. She has been a member of ACTE since the fall of 2021, and she
continues to seek ways to give back to her community through her involvement in her church and
sorority.

Please accept this letter of support for Savannah Patton. Savannah is pursuing a degree in Career and
Technical Education with an emphasis in family and consumer sciences education. We need teachers
like Savannah. She is the type of teacher candidate who will attend this conference and walk away with
knowledge and skills that she will share with her classmates and students. An investment in
