Fatima Saleem wrote an assignment on global inequality for her English II class taught by Mahrukh Masood. In the assignment, Fatima discusses how global inequality is increasing as the world becomes more uneven, with unequal access to lifestyle, rights, and healthy living based on factors like gender, class, and wealth. She notes that rich populations get richer while poor populations get poorer due to economic differences. Governments need to take action to reduce inequality, though corruption also contributes to the problem.

The word “INEQUALITY” is from one of the well-known words in today’s society. The world is an uneven place which means everybody is not getting the same lifestyle, same equal rights, and chances to live a healthy and happy life. This is because global inequality is increasing gradually, instead of reducing. Inequality starts even before the birth of the person. Inequality between men and women, servants and masters, officers and a common person, parents and children, and between genders etc. is increasing day by day because of the gaps between the societies and classes. Every person faces inequality in every phase of life. Rich become richer and the poor become poorer because of the economic difference between them. Poverty rate is increasing highly every year which is the biggest reason for inequality. According to Islamic values, Rich people should give zakat and charity to the poor to reduce this gap. But unfortunately, mostly people from the upper Muslim community forgetting their religious rules and values. If a man who is not financially strong has to suffer a lot to gain good education, better health services and a successful career in his life which is unfair. Governments of every country should do some work to reduce this inequality because the governments do corruption is also a reason for inequality. In conclusion, everyone blames others for the difficulties of life but if we want to change this world, we should start with ourselves.
