Topic of the Role Play:

Customer service... angry customer.
(There is a girl who went out for some urgent piece of work. She is in a hurry. Suddenly she
realized she was starving. She approached a nearby cafe. She went to the counter to order
her food.)

Waitress: hey! How are you ma’am?

Girl: hi! I’m good.

Waitress: Ma’am! How may I help you?

Girl: I came here for the first time. Tell me here's specialty.

Waitress: Ma’am! Our cafe is famous for sandwiches and the prices are budget friendly too.

Girl: okay that’s great. I want to order sandwiches and a pack of fries.

Waitress: Thanks Ma’am! Your order will be ready in 15 minutes.

Girl: make sure it will not take more than 15 minutes.

Waitress: okay ma’am. No worries.

(Girl went to the table and sat there and started waiting. She looked at the clock and it was
more than 20 minutes and then food arrived.)

Waitress: ma’am here is your order. Sorry for being late.

Girl: I said to you before that it should not take more than 15 minutes but that’s okay. Anyways!

Waitress: bon appétit ma’am.

(Girl started eating than suddenly she starts screaming)

Girl: ohhhh! Waitress…. Look at this.

Waitress: what happened ma’am why are you screaming? Is everything alright?

Girl: there is a hair in my meal and you are asking is everything is alright are you in your
senses?

Waitress: O ma’am! I’m sorry about this trouble. I can understand you are upset. We are really
very sorry ma’am. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Girl: I told you before that I’m in a hurry but you made me much late. And now there is hair in
my food. Is that how renowned café work?

Waitress: You’re right, and we need to do something about it immediately and I apologized
once again.
Girl: What I can do with your apology. Bloody hell….

Waitress: our chef will make another sandwich for you in just 2 minutes. Or anything else you
want. How may I help you?

Girl: I don’t need anything else. I am leaving right now and I’ll report to the food authority.

Waitress: no ma’am no kindly don’t do this ma’am please.

(Another waiter brings a new sandwich and waitress give this to the girl)

Waitress: kindly take this ma’am. Please ma’am. We will not charge you for this; it will be free
for you.
Girl: No, I’m not taking this. You think that you can buy me by giving a free sandwich.

Waitress: no ma’am. We are just trying to compensate.

Girl: okay then that will be okay. But be careful next time.

(The girl takes the sandwich and leaves)
