Create a one-page telephone conversation with a partner. The conversation/dialogue
can be on any topic in a variety of settings.
Last week, my husband and I went for a vacation in Paris. It was the vacation that we
were waiting for as there were a beautiful scenery and very friendly citizen. I am very
impressive with the beautiful building there but we were upset and unhappy about our
vacation. This because we were unsatisfied with hotel service that we stayed. So, my
husband ask I go to the agency to complain about that.

: Hello and good morning, sir and madam, can I help you?

: First of all the coach taking us to the hotel broke down and we had to
wait for over two hours before a replacement arrived. We were very
tired! Then, when we got to the hotel, we wanted to get some rest but
when we opened the door, we found our room had not been cleaned.
Many rubbish and food wasted in the basket. It cause the room have a
bad smell.

: Oh! Sorry to hear your bad experience. I am sorry to ask this, did you
complain to the hotel staff?
Sir Fiq
: Yes, of course! But we were told all the chambermaids were off duty.
Anyway, that's not all. The people in the room above sounded like
they were having all-night parties, every night. The place like in disco
club.

: Did you have any other problem, madam? I have to record all of your
compliment so that my boss will take it serious.

: Indeed, I have many problem with your service! The next day, I
demanded another room but the receptionist told me the hotel was
full. So that, I stayed at the same room. At night, the same situation
happened. It make my holiday mood become down.

: And the food service in the hotel restaurant was awful. It was so bad.
It is five stars hotel but the food service not symbolize like that. We
had to eat out all the time despite having paid for meals in the price of
our holiday.

of our autumn breaks as a gesture of goodwill.
