The HRMO Office Staff, as well as the draftsmen Mr. Nhel Joshua Dacanay and Mr.
Jelsam Joseph Ragma, who consistently mentored us throughout our immersion, were

Everyone has a goal in life. To have a successful career eventually, however, we must
first take the risk of being decent people. Participating in an on-the-job training program is
one of the most exciting experiences I will have throughout my time in senior high school.
As an immersionist, I will be accountable for all of my work, develop good following
skills, and complete all tasks assigned to me by my supervisor on time. I'll arrive to the office
on time as a good example. I'm eager to assist my fellow immersionist, but the most crucial
thing is to respect those around you. My experience in work immersion will serve as a key to
fulfill my future
I need to be more competitive and aggressive in order to pursue my goal in that
circumstance. I also need to be more determined to know the rules of success. If I give it my
all and follow their instructions, I'll amaze them with the abilities I possess.
I'll make sure to follow through on everything to get praise in the workplace; I'll pay
attention to my boss so that my work improves; and I'll try my hardest to succeed in order to
live a happy and peaceful existence. I will use what I learn through my immersion to
everything in my life. I'll benefit greatly from this experience in the future. Above all, I must
have the will to pursue everything I am doing today. And I give God praise for allowing me
to go through all of this.

Reflection

This was the first time I've ever felt like an employee. For the ten days of immersion,
I can honestly say it was such a terrific journey, it was really a great experience for me and I
would treasure it for the rest of my life.
Imagine for a brief period of time in immersionI've been able to do things which also
an employee does, I've learned how to cooperate with others regardless of whether you are an
employee or just an immersionist student. I almost forgot that I was just an immersionist
student during the training; I felt that I was already an employee and I've been part of the
office. I know that everything that I've experienced during the precious days of immersion I
think all seems to worth it. A truly valuable lesson I took away from the immersion days was
the necessity of teamwork and cooperation because we cannot achieve success by relying just
on ourselves.
I definitely value the existence of our immersion program because it has contributed
significantly to my personal development. Our education helps us to develop a realistic
understanding of what it's like to work in an office and the challenges we may face in the
future. Except when we were under pressure to work directly under the direction of our boss,
we did not find it difficult to work at LGU Galimuyod because of their approachable and
courteous staff. Even so, despite the challenges they caused me in the past, they also provided
me the confidence I needed to collaborate with my supervisor going forward. We even shared
personal information with them regarding topics outside of the field work that they helped us
recognize.

The thigs I loved Most
The trainings and experiences I had in field siting or outside work of engineering
administration of lgu galimuyod were the things I enjoyed the most since they inspired me to
one day become a better engineer. I appreciate how they treated us with warmth and made us
feel like a part of them.
Thing that I need to Improve
Having completed my work immersion, I need to make numerous improvements in
particular to me to be aim proved pupil. I have to work on it. and acquire this communication
ability so that I can definitely handle, collaborate and communicate with various client.

FOCUS OF DIARY 1ST WEEK OF WORK IMMERSION
Day 1 – February 20, 2023
On the first day of work immersion, I arrived at the LGU-Galimuyod before 8 am as
instructed by sir Wilbert Eleccion. After that at 8 am the lgu conduct flag raising ceremony
every 8am in Monday. Afterwards me and my fellow immersionist gathered in municipal
drrm office. Sir Alberto Gines who gives short briefing to us and he is the one assigned us to
our respective offices. Then after that we go to our offices where I deployed at Engineering
office. We entered to our and our Supervisor Maam Helen V. Valdez welcome us as a new
employee.
My first task given by Sir Nhel Joshua Dacanay-Draftsman is to staple Plans or
Projects. After that My co-worker and mentor asked me also to go to other offices to signed
the plan or project. In the afternoon, my co-worker shows me how they create projects such
as multi-purpose building etc., and by 5pm we go home.

Day 2- February 21, 2023
I arrived before 8am. Afterwards my co-workers asked me to give the paper works to
be signed to different offices. And after that Sir Nhel Joshua Dacanay teach me some basics
of using Autocad. In the Afternoon I staple’s projects.
Day 3-February 22, 2023
In the morning, me and my co-worker wait the contractor for a project that is need to
start as soon as possible according to the Engineer of the Municipal. Then me and my fellow
Immersionist Roselyn go to different offices to signed and give the head of the offices copy
of biding paper. Afternoon, my co-worker asked help to compute project’s expenses and
report to the Engineer.

On this day I arrived before eight in the morning. Around 8:30 am my co-worker
called
me to come on the field. We go in barangay Mckinley to visit ongoing construction of their
multi-purpose building, our Engr. II sir Jomar Inigo handed them the new design for the MPB
to the foreman of the construction. After that we go to Barangay Borobor Galimuyod, ILocos
Sur, we wait the captain of the barangay to accompany us to the site of their Irrigation Canal.
Once we know the site we started to measure it from Barangay Borobor to Barangay
Sacaang.
In the afternoon as my rest time my co-worker brought another Program of Work to
compute the budgets of the project. Around 4pm I xerox documents from the Mayor’s Office.

FOCUS OF DIARY 2ND WEEK OF WORK IMMERSION
I arrived exact 8 am, early in the morning co-worker ask to wait what his doing and
print it then I will give it to the Engineering Offices down stairs.
In the afternoon we don’t do so much but my co worker show me his job on making a
proposal design of building to be checked by our Municipal Engineer.
I arrived before 8 in the morning, then maam helen the head in the offices chat with
me about how’s school, if i have a love life, and what i will get on coming college life. We
chatted like were a real colleague.Then I encoded again an estimated of program of work as

well my co-worker try to teach me how to compute the detailed estimate of the program of
work.

In the afternoon, about 3pm my co-worker called me to come to the store to buy PBC
pipes, service drop, kitchen sink. Then delivered it to the ongoing construction of commercial
building.
Day 7 -March 2, 2023
I arrived early because I just came back from San Fernando City, La Union to apply
for admission test in dmmmsu. We don’t do so much in the morning but in the afternoon my
co-worker just asked me to distribute papers to different offices of the municipal hall.

Day 8 – March 3, 2023
In the morning we don’t do so much work I just watch my co-worker working out of
his job creating floorplan of a multi-purpose building of Barangay Sabangan Bato,
Galimuyod. And suddenly our head of the office request me to brought down a packed of
bond paper to the Department of Agriculture.
In the afternoon the assistant of the mayor asked me to xerox the 70 each of the 3
papers about there lyrics of the choir they will use for practice.

Day 9 – March 6, 2023
My co-worker started to teach me on how to do floorplan for building. After that I
encode the proposal and the plans for the project. And the afternoon my co-worker taught me
to use sketch up and autocad of building as alittle help for my upcoming college journey.

Day 10 – March 7, 2023
Last day because last march 1 ididnt go to work because I went san fernando la union
to apply an admission test for college.
In the morning i greet maam helen valdez Good morning to show that im here for my
last day of immersion, she said that she admired our help for 10 days being a co-worker in the
lgu galimuyod. I don’t do so much in my day i just continue encoding the estimate value left
by sir nheljoshua dacanay because he’s out practicing singing for the incoming choir contest
for begnas de galimuyod.

The highlight of my work immersion was my outdoor work experience
with the Engineering Administration of LGU Galimuyod. When I go with
them to visit the site of their incoming projects in the different Barangays
of Galimuyod. I thank them for their advice on me and for their reminder
that all work is not easy.
