INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION
This operator’s guide presents general information about the menu provided on the ProntoPro, P/N
2507-1-002. It is a guide to understanding the general operation of these Displays as designed by
Rockwell Collins Business Regional Systems. The general operational information contained in this
operator’s guide must be supplemented with the appropriate approved aircraft manuals. Aircraft
manuals for a specific aircraft describe the operation of the overall cabin management system for that
aircraft.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
This Operator’s Guide explains how to operate the menus for the ProntoPro Handheld Remote
operating on the Challenger aircraft.
During operation the ProntoPro Handheld Remote sends out a signal to he Cabin Management
System; it does not receive feedback messages from that system in return. Buttons on the ProntoPro
Handheld Remote will be highlighted and/or will beep to indicate the transmission of a signal.
The Cabin Management System is configured with two TV’s that can be selected for operation using
the ProntoPro Remote Control. TV1 or TV2 may be selected by pressing the individual select button
on the left side of the ProntoPro Handheld Remote Control.

KEY OPERATING FEATURES


The ProntoPro Remote features the following menus:

• Color Display
• TV1
• TV2

ProntoPro Remote

The ProntoPro Remote, P/N 2507-1-002, works in conjunction with an Airshow Systems
RF/IR Remote Receiver, P/N 2033-1-1, currently configured in a typical Cabin
Management System.
