Setting out - Check building boundary
- Check gridline
- Check pile setting out
- Set up referent points (3 points)
- Check steel casing setting out
- Check steel casing verticality
- Check pile rig verticality
Boring Process - Temporary steel casing must be extend
at least 1m above the ground level to
prevent loose material falling into the
bottom of bored hole
PROJECT NAME

- Check bored hole depth to follow

approval design
- Check bentonite slurry before rebar
installation
- Check any deviation in the distance of
the pile point to the referent points
after soil boring
- The depth achieved (penetrated hard
strata to specify depth are checked by
the measurement tap
- No excavation commences within 8m
of any concrete pile curing less than 24
hours
- Piles are not bored next to other piles
which are just casted (less than 24
hours)
Concreting - Check dimension of reinforcement
- Check bentonite slurry mixture to
follow specification
- Check concrete tremie pipe for
concreting
- Tremie pipe will be raised about
200mm above the base of bored hole
- Bottom end of tremie pipe is always
submerged 2 to 3 meters below the
level of concrete.
- Concreting only stopped at about 1 to
1.5 meter above the cut-off level
- Check slump of concrete for selected
deliveries
- Prepare test cube or cylinder
following standard requirements
- Record number of trucks and
discharge amount per truck
Post Concreting - Pile head positioned within max.
deviation 75mm in any direction from
its design position
- Max. Deviation of finished pile from
vertical at any level is less than 1/150
PROJECT NAME

- Conduct sonic pipe test

- Estimate the amount of concrete for
each pile
