Practical Significance
Garment costing is very important and fabric is the costliest raw material in garments. In
order to minimize manufacturing cost, one has to minimize fabric consumption per garment.
So marker planning of various drafted pattern components becomes vital. Students must
apply planning skill for multiple components in order to reduce per garment fabric
consumption.
