Bidding Document Section VI - Works Requirement (GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS $4.10 (2) MATERIALS Unless otherwise shown on the Drawings or instructed by the Engineer, the materials to be used shall be as follows: (a) Non-woven Separation Geotextile Filter Fabric Where required, as directed by the Engineer, geotextile filter fabric for separating the ‘embankment material from the existing soils shall conform to AASHTO M288 for highway separation applications. ‘The geo-textile sheets shall be UV-stabilized, non-wove and continuous filament type and shall have a permeability rate greater than surrounding soils which may be mechanically or thermally bonded from continuous filament and have the minimum physical properties as shown in below table, ‘The filter fabric shall be from a reputal wufacturer and shall be approved by the Engineer, ‘The Contractor shall present certified relevant test results and justify that the filter fabric Is sultable for the intended use. The Contractor shall keep an accurate record of each sheet of geo-textile installed, including location, date, starting and finishing time, and size of the geo-textile being installed. The record shall also include all the joins of the geo-textile sheets, whether across or along the road axis.
