IV.PROCEDURE
Preliminaries  Greetings. Setting the class atmosphere. Check the
attendance. Give house rules. refer to power point
Motivation slides.
- A pleasant mindset to everyone. I hope you woke
up with an energetic mood for you to be ready with
our new topic. Clear your mind and release those
negative energy. Now, listen carefully as we both
learn from each other.

Activity 1: place me right
Direction: let the student group themselves into 3, provide
them a pictures of clothing or fashion design and let them
discuss and analyze where to place it from the different
principle of design placed at the front.
C. Abstraction  What do you know about the five principle of design??
It is a good outfit that should have proportion, balance,
harmony, emphasis, and rhythm to express.
 Discuss the 5 main principles of design
1. Balance – the feeling of rest and equilibrium.
This is essential to the total design of a costume.

2. Proportion- the design involves the relationship


of one part to another. Uneven space
relationships are more interesting than even
ones.

3. Harmony/unity- it is the pleasing arrangement of


all parts of a garment. The color, lines, shapes
and textures look like they belong together.
4. Rhythm- is a sense of movement and is
necessary to create interest. It is done by the
flow of the lines, shape, space and texture of a
garment. The repetition of lines, shapes and
color to create direction

5. Emphasis- the focal point or center of interest


Of a garment. It can be accomplished with lines,
design details, color, texture, trims or accessories.

Instructions:
 Group the students into 3
 Choose their leader
 Occupy the respective area assigned
 Perform the activity following the group standards and
present
D. Application Note: those who never presented a role in the group will be
the performer.

Standards for the simple drawing activity will be presented


using PPT.
