Reflection
Introduction and Overview
The field trip enabled me to discover new things and obtain new perspectives on a location that I
found to be quite interesting: Complex 01, located at 31/167 Tay Son, Dong Da district. Complex
01 is a creative hub that combines many forms of entertainment and connects young people to
artists.

A brief explanation of key points presented in the maps

As collected and analyzed data from the trip, I created two maps. I used the geographical
map to mark the locations of different structures, including houses, shacks, schools, green
spaces, and streets, in relation to one another, in order to determine that Complex 01 is
situated in a densely populated residential area. There are schools, and service stores mixed
with residential houses. Complex 01 is built from the foundation of an old industrial
factory, with an area of 4,200m2, and next to it is an ancient gymnasium. With the mind
map, I have synthesized the information found to classify them into four groups of factors
that affect the surrounding community both in terms of pros and cons. Using mind maps
gives me an in-depth view of the posting issues that occur in the area scientifically.

Complex 01 affects both negatively and positively the community

On the good side, Complex 01 has really been known by many young people in Hanoi as an
integrated place with many purposes. Besides, it creates jobs and creates a beautiful landscape
for the urban environment. As reflected, the hygiene here is quite good and does not cause many
complaints to the surrounding population. On the bad side, the construction of an entertainment
and music complex in a residential area will cause noise pollution, especially on weekends when
bands perform in the open space on the 1st floor. In addition, people feel unsafe with heavy
traffic in the alleys which will cause theft and accidents (if children want to play in the alley).
Moreover, the marketing is not effective in accordance with the location's potential of the
location, causing many customers to lack information about the location or be confused when the
synchronization of zones is not reasonable. Finally, it is quite challenging to get to Complex 01
during the rush hour because it is located in a small alley with a large road surface with traffic
density crowded.
My Solutions:
I have proposed 1 number of solutions to solve the above problems. First, the Management
Board of Complex 01 should rent/build a new parking space located outside Lane 167 Tay Son. At
that time, passengers can walk 1 section into the venue to help reduce overcrowded traffic in the
small alley.  Next, they should set a curfew for leisure activities. For example, on weekends, the
band may play from 9:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m., with a break from 11:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. Besides,
they should promote their marketing more effectively so that Complex 01 is better known. Special
attention is paid to the freshmen because this is a subject that is still eager to explore, coming
every year and suitable for the target customers of the zone. Also, the managers should inform
customers of all activities happening on the day they come by leaflets or brochures.
