PERSONAL NOTES ON MIDYEAR REVIEW

The midyear review that I underwent with my fellow ratee and rater was a fruitful one. Basically, we
presented to our rater Ms Katlyn F. Pascua our existing MOVs for each objective. We informed her of the
score we gave ourselves based on our own assessment which she verified if this self-assessment is
accurate. I am very thankful to her for the assistance she provided to us. She is very generous because
she helped us identify objectives which we need to focus on and advised us which MOVs we need to
provide to satisfy those objectives so that we would be rated with an outstanding rating. I was really
enlightened by the coaching since I really had a hard time understanding specifically Objective 6 which
required us to provide timely feedback to the students. Luckily, my rater explained to me what it meant and
advised me to have an online exam through google forms since it will provide me with a date and time
stamp which would justify whether or not I provided a timely feedback to my students. She also advised me
to have an annotation to the screenshots I took as an MOV for the said objective and reminded me to
ensure that identifying elements are kept confidential by covering them or hiding them. Also, I had a
problem with my plus factors and she told me to use the certificate I received as a Subject Focal Person
which I now incorporated as an MOV for the said objective. Over-all, I felt relieved after the said coaching
since my concerns were addressed and I feel confident that I would be able to satisfy all the required MOVs
and get an outstanding rating for this year.
