Sudhakars’ hotel career started at the TAJ GROUP INDIA, after completing a

Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from the Institute of hotel


Management, India;  he went on to do a Masters in Tourism Management.

Sudhakar started his hospitality career as Management Trainee in Food &


Beverage Management programme across two years of period for TAJ GROUP
Chennai and Madurai hotel- India before deciding to move to the UK to further
his career. In 2001 he became the Maitre D for Le Meridien, a four star deluxe
hotel in Gatwick.

Sudhakar then decided to move to London and became Food and Beverage
Manager in Hilton London Mews Hotel, and expanded his knowledge and skills
working as conference and banqueting manager in Hilton Paddington and
Hilton Canary Wharf.

After a ten year career with Hilton, Sudhakar moved to Park Plaza Hotels,
where he became the Meeting and Events Operations Manager for Park Plaza
Victoria. His primary focus was to set up departmental strategies and action
plans, improve the communication between the Planning and Sales team and
increase the Guest satisfaction scores for Medallia and BDRC. After just under
two years Sudhakar was promoted to Food and Beverage Manager for Park
Plaza Victoria. He has been making improvements to ensure that there is the
highest level of guest service and consistency provided across all the Food and
Beverage outlets in the hotel.
