OJT NARRATIVE REPORT

Name: ZAPATOZE, Javi N.


Course and Section: BSBA MM-J2021

I am Javi N. Zapatoze, a student pursuing a Business Administration Major

in Marketing (BSBA-MM) at Taguig City University. As part of curriculum, I was

required to undergo an On-The-Job training (OJT) program for a period of Three

Hundred (300) hours. The objective of the training was to provide me with

practical experience in my chosen field and to enhance my skills and knowledge.

I was fortunate to be accepted as an OJT trainee at Career Development

and Placement Office (CDPO) in Taguig City University. The company is well-

known in the industry for its expertise and quality of service/products. During my

training, I was assigned to their office and was under the supervision of Sir

Eduardo C. Bautista.

During my OJT program, I was given a variety of task and responsibilities,

which included Assisting students, Confirming place of OJT students, Checking

the requirements of OJT students and Encoding. At first I felt so nervous to

commit mistakes because for me it was new environment at that time and I also felt

afraid mostly when I was having conversation with the superiors. But in that

moment I realized, I need to prove that I am firm, flexible, and versatile in any

kind of circumstances. And I often showed them my best to make them amazed.

During my training days, I often practiced myself to wakeup early in the

morning just to be on-time and until now I am so proud to myself because I

maintain it. As with new experience, there were challenges and learning

opportunities that I encountered during my OJT. One of the challenges was

adjusting to the work environment and culture of the company. However, with the

guidance and support of my supervisor and colleagues, I was able to adapt and

become productive. Another challenge was the workload and deadlines, but it

taught me to manage my time efficiently and prioritize my task.

I also had several learning opportunities during my OJT program. I gained

practical knowledge and skills in Communication, this actually acquired me to

understand information accurately and quickly and also Be open to their feedback,

this help me to identify my weak areas to evaluate my performance for

improvement. I also learned the importance of teamwork and professionalism in

the workplace. Additionally, I developed my problem solving and critical thinking

skills by working on various projects and tasks.

My on-the-job training experience at CDPO was an enriching and invaluable

opportunity for professional growth. It provided me with hands on experience,

exposed me to real-world challenges, and enhanced my understanding of the

industry. Through this training, I acquired practical skills, improved my

communication abilities, and gained insights into effective teamwork and time

management. I am confident that the knowledge and experience gained during this

OJT.
