I hope this email finds you well.

To introduce myself first, I am Ujjyaini Mitra, born and brought up in Bengal and a Bengali by heart.
SETU, though a brainchild of mine, but thankfully parented by some of the stellar Industry professionals,
who have joined hand with me as founding team members. SETU is an ed-tech startup that focuses on
talent creation for the emerging industry demand. We are building a Patent promising Generative AI
based learning platform, which will revolutionize how learning, at various stages of life can be assisted
through an immersive environment.

We, at SETU believe in raw virgin talents, and therefore are super
focused at hiring fresh geeks from colleges and giving them an
opportunity to build something very impactful, which they and their
family will be proud of throughout their lives. We are excited to
announce that we will be hosting a Hackathon exclusively for
the students at your college. The Hackathon is an opportunity
for students to showcase their skills, creativity, and innovative
thinking while tackling real-world challenges.

Students participating in the Hackathon will have an opportunity to

interact with our Sr leaders as well as young team members, network with
them and build a strong bond.

Below are some of the details related to the Tech-a-thon based hiring process.

1. Who can participate: Final Year students, can join us soon after the semester exam from July’23
2. Date: 18th – 19th May
3. Venue: Campus of BP Poddar Institute of Management & Engineering

5. Registration closes on: Midnight 16th May
6. Number of rounds – 3
a. ‘Are your basics clear’ round – which consists of MCQ kind of questions including
Aptitude, logical reasoning, SQL, Python and Java related questions.
b. ‘Are you a genius’ round – in which a specific use case will be given to design and
develop something. Clearly this is related to digital product development from front-end
and back-end developers’ perspective. Students scoring at least 60% of marks from
previous round will be eligible for this round.

 c. ‘Tech-Tank’ round – Now present your solution to the Tech-gurus and win your badge to
join SETU.
d. Result announcement: on 19th May we will announce who are the final ones who will
receive an offer to join SETU.
7. This is ideally immediate joining roles.
8. # of positions: We aim to choose 5 students. However, we maintain the highest standards of
talents, and therefore, if nobody meets that level, we might have to come back empty handed,
while, on the other hand, if we find more impressive talents, we may end up extending offers to
more students.
9. Job location: As of now, this is a work-from-anywhere role, and we accept BYOD (Bring your
own device) policy. It is important they have access to a good laptop and strong internet
connections. However, a student who does not have a good enough laptop will be provided with a
company laptop. Now said that we might move to a physical working space soon, and then the
employees will be expected to work from the office.
10. Compensation: It starts with a 3-month internship (stipend 10K/ month) followed by a CTC of
4.2LPA, where the detailed CTC breakdown will be shared in the offer letter. There are other
exclusive parks for young hearts – like learning opportunities, dating allowances, adventure
allowances etc.
11. Commitment: Students securing position for SETU and accepting our offer should be restricted
from taking part in another company’s recruitment drive and must join us with at least a year’s
commitment.

This is a registration only Tech-a-thon, therefore only registered students will be allowed to take part in
this recruitment drive. We will soon share registration link with further details to you, which you can share
among students.

We kindly request you to help us with a tentative head count of those who are interested in taking part in
this drive. This will help us in planning the logistics in the meanwhile.
