STUDY OBJECTIVE

I am applying Master of Education program with specialization of Learning,

Technology and Society in University of Bristol, Great Britain. I have high desire and interest
in utilizing technology to the teaching learning process in order to produce motivation and
excitement within the learners. As we can see, people are tend to waste their time to play with
their electronic devices. In that case, in order not to make them disappointed in the future life,
they can utilize the development of technology to be positioned in positive way. I strongly
believe that this master’s program can prepare me to gain a specialty in the field of operating
digital devices towards sophisticated education in the future. Furthermore, this campus has
great reputation world widely and known as the sixty ninth best World University Rank by
Times Higher Education World University year 2016.
In the master’s program, I plan to conduct a research concerning about electronica use
in learning process to create fast understandability for the material. This idea comes along
with my awareness of varied intake of students during my experience as the teacher in all
ages and also as a student in the past. There are so many ways influencing the successful of
learners’ learning such as, simply by reading books (actually who has high Intelligence
Quotient), learning through televisions, learning by listening to the music, and so forth.
Simply, this research will raise issues of learners’ ways in learning, then exploring and
integrating the differences to develop the most suitable digital learning. This master program
aims to develop ability and knowledge that would assist the graduates in utilizing and even
creating interested and new sophisticated technology in teaching learning process.
My bachelor study on English Teacher training and education has prepared me with a
strong grounding in English and theoretical aspects of teaching and technology issues of
which we use all day long which can contribute me in developing myself to reach my future
goal in master’s program. I have learned about Study and Learning, Textbook and
Curriculum Analysis, Micro Teaching and Teaching Practice in my bachelor study which I
conducted a research towards the use of comic in improving students’ English vocabulary,
Laboratorium and Computer of which I got the issues of digital use in teaching learning
process. Then, I completed my study by receiving an excellent mark 3,62 out of 4,00. I am
sure these experiences could link one another, of which I learned that learning by using
technology should be more helped by advanced concepts and assisted by effective strategies
and tutors. For this reason, I have totally provided myself to perform well in my future study.
I want to seek the solution and even make the learners become interested in learning as well
as they are interested in gaming and replying the chat automatically as they hear the sound
‘ping’.
Studying in Great Britain is a bridge to make those dreams come true. It is clearly
linked between my previous study and future goal. I am sure that this country has been
known as one of the country that utilize the technological use in educational acts. The
advanced theories, technologies, and information in this country will facilitate and support
me to fulfill my ambition to become an accomplished professional in the field of digital
learning. Besides learning, I also have intention to observe not only education but also social
characteristic within society. It is due to its aspects that also take big role in the advancement
of education in this country, so that I can adopt good thing to Indonesia as the country I am
belonged to. I also planned to join volunteer teacher community to feel and see closer the
situation and condition of education in Great Britain.
My future goal is to be a specialist whether lecturer or trainer in the field of utilizing
digital devices within education as I have strong commitment to help whether students and
teachers to fulfill their obligations to enrich their knowledge along with the development of
periods. We cannot let the periods control us, but we as the human being that are blessed with
our cleverness should control the world we live in.
