Find the mean of this distribution, and using it (rounded to one decimal place) as the
parameter λ, fit a Poisson distribution. Test for goodness of fit at the 0.05 level of

3 An educator has the opinion that the grades scored by high school students depends on the
amount of time they spend in listening to music. To test this theory, he has given a questionnaire
to 400 students. He asked two questions in the questionnaire: 1 how Many hours per week do
you listen to music? 2 what is your average grade for all your classes? The data from the survey
are in the following table. Using a 5% level of significance test whether the grades secured and
time spent on listening to music are independent or dependent
