Ideas

 Government authoritarian
 Plague – but cause is unknown
 Government and authorities are watching us, with monitors in our bodies-planted in them at
birth
 Government actually made artificial plague to wipe out the weak – survival of the fittest and
everyone is trapped in the country/island (develop further). It is a test
 2 main characters – one that is homeless (boy, main); one that works for the government
but knows that something isn’t right (ends up meeting boy and helping him)
 Government executes anyone who speaks up or tries to rebel against their control
 The boy escapes with the girl and meets 5 other strangers in the city boundaries and they
have survived the plague from 20 years ago
 History was wiped out that said anything about the plague
 Everyone has a file on themselves by government
 Government does a plague control every 20 years to maintain population stability to prevent
riots
 They find this out from the 5 survivors of the last plague
 During plague, all medical and emergency services are offline and all shops, restaurants are
closed.
 Turns out to be a simulation
