Print – resources that are physically printed on paper.


Examples: textbooks, workbooks, reference books, journals, newspapers,
magazines, encyclopedias
Audiovisual Materials – composed of sound, sequence of pictures or both.
Examples: motion pictures, videos, CDs, DVDs. TV
Assessment Tools – measure a student's academic abilities, fluency, and skills in a
specific subject.
Examples: rubrics, curriculum mapping, focus groups, portfolios, structured
interviews, surveys
Learning Objects – a digital, open educational resource that is created to assist in a
learning event.
Examples: engaging videos, online presentations, dialogue simulations,
interactive events, online quizzes
Visual Materials – refers to the images or graphics that are presented to the learner.
Examples: photographs, film, video, paintings, drawings, cartoons, prints,
designs, and three-dimensional art such as sculpture
Audio Materials – includes anything heard such as the spoken word, a health talk or
music.
Examples: cassettes, micro cassettes, phonograph record, CD's, and audio card
ICT-based Materials – includes products that store, process, transmit, convert,
duplicate, or receive electronic information.
Examples: PowerPoint presentation, infographics, printers, computers, laptops,
tablets, Google Meet, Google Spreadsheets, etc.
