II. BUSINESS PROFILE
Siogoi was established on May 2023 by Mr. Sam Beltran, the business is located on Blk
16 Lot 17, F. Ramos St., Rufina Homes Subdivision V, Guimba, Nueva Ecija. Siogoi was
inspired from the Japanese word “sugoi” that means great or amazing and mixed to the word
siomai which is our product. Siogoi is composed of different position such as Owner, Cook,
and Cashier that was fulfilled by Mr. Beltran and his company. Mr. Beltran did a study on the
top products in Philippines, and he conclude that siomai is one of the products that excel
from the other competitors since it is not seasonal food, thus he reach out to Mr. Felix Dayao
and Mr. Florence Dayao, to help build Siogoi food business and established it. Siogoi is a
food company that offers high quality and best tasting siomai to the market. This business is
a sole proprietorship that is build and developed through the help and support of his
colleagues. In addition, the initial capital of the company to cover up all the expenses and to
produce the product is about Php 50,000. Siogoi was created to give the best service and
product that will fulfil the customers satisfaction.

III. MARKET ANALYSIS


As we observed, In Guimba one of the most popular food is siomai that is mostly seen in
a food carts. Therefore we taken this opportunity to develop a siomai house instead of food
carts in an aims not just to serve food but also to give a comfortable and relaxing place to
enjoy your meal . We offers different varieties of siomai such as Pork Siomai, Chicken
Siomai, Japanese Siomai, Beef Siomai, Dumplings and Fried rice with siomai toppings. In
addition we also offer drinks like bottled water, sago’t gulaman, and softdrinks. However we
are not just selling some random siomai we tends to offer to the market our homemade
siomai that contains 100% ground pork with mix of mushroom to add flavor to our product.
This siomai house primarily targets to create an enjoyable and fulfilling snacks or meal for all
ages in the town of Guimba.

and food carts or other kiosk due to the reason of close competition, same business type, and

Cook Cashier

Here are the job roles or descriptions of each position assigned to the members of
the business. Firstly, The CEO it is the highest position in the business under this
position are the cook and cashier. Mr. Sam Beltran, the CEO of the business is
responsible on leading the business, supporting the business in all aspect, decision-
making, hiring staffs, transactions, and other more. In other word the CEO’s
responsibility is the overall progress, operation, and production of the business.
Furthermore, Mr. Felix Dayao the cook/chef is primarily responsible for preparing the
menu or products that will be serve to the customers. In addition, he is the responsible
in overall kitchen area including the stocks and equipments and also reporting to the
CEO about matters on the kitchen. Lastly, Mr. Florence Dayao the cashier holds
responsibility in the overall counter area he is the one taking orders, payments, and
change of the customers. For more details, he also hold responsibility on accounting
for income, expenses, and cash handling in the business this also includes payrolls
and checking if the target quota is met.

VI. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS


Pork Siomai

A tender flavour of pork around a bite size treat. It was made of 500 grams ground pork,
1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp ground black pepper, 3 shiitake mushrooms, 1 tbsp garlic powder (or fresh
garlic chopped finely), 1 tbsp onion powder (or fresh onion chopped finely), 3 tbsp parsley
(chopped finely), 2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 egg (beaten), siomai wrapper (for wrapping). It should be
cooked around 20 minutes to get the rich flavour of the pork meat.

Beef Siomai

A tasty treat that is made from a real cow meat that will definitely be loved by people
who likes beef savoury flavor. It is made of 500 gram of Ground Beef, 1 cup of grated carrots, ½
cup of chopped mushroom, 1 cup of minced onion, 2 tablespoon of grated garlic, 3 tablespoon of
oyster sauce, 1.5 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, ½
teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1 egg, 3 shiitake mushroom, 25 pieces of
siomai wrapper. It should be cooked around 15 minutes to achieve the savoury beef flavor.

Chicken Siomai

Juicy and flavourful dish that you would make you order twice, made from 100% real
chicken that provides the tastiest flavour. It is made of 2 lbs. ground chicken, 3/4 cup minced
shrimp, 1/4 cup sesame oil, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 cup minced white mushroom, 2 teaspoons
chicken powder, 1 large yellow onion minced, 1 cup minced carrots, 1/2 teaspoon ground black
pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 egg, A pack of wonton wrappers, 4 to 6
cups water. It should be cooked around 25 minutes to get the juicy and tasty chicken flavour.

Japanese Siomai

Our best selling product the Japanese style siomai, a very rich in flavour meal with a
twist of sea food flavor. It is made of ½ pound ground pork, 1 small carrot - grated, ¼ teaspoon
ground pepper, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon sugar, ⅛ cup flour, 3
shiitake mushrooms, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 5-6 pieces crab sticks, 2 pieces nori wrap. This
will make you feel the essence of Japanese culture.

Dumplings

A chinese style inspired food that will surely satisfied your taste buds with its tender and
rich flavour. It is made of 4 cups all-purpose flour(500 g), 2 teaspoons salt, divided, 1 ¼ cups
warm water(300 mL), 2 cups red cabbage(200 g), 2 cups green onion(300 g), sliced, 6 cloves
garlic, minced, 4 tablespoons ginger, minced, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil,
½ lb ground pork(225 g), ½ teaspoon pepper, ¾ cup mushroom(55 g), diced, ¾ cup carrot(90 g),
diced, ½ lb shrimp(225 g), peeled and deveined. This recipe is good for 24 pcs of dumplings.

Fried Rice with Siomai

Fried rice with siomai Why go to chowking if you can enjoy a good quality fried rice
with a siomai here in Siogoi with a very adorable price. It is made of 1 1/2 c. long-grain rice
(preferably jasmine), or about 2 1/2 c. leftover rice, 3 tbsp. peanut or vegetable oil, divided, 3
large eggs, beaten to blend, 5 cloves garlic, grated or finely chopped, 1 (1") piece ginger, peeled,
grated or finely chopped, 4 scallions, white, pale green, and dark green parts separated, thinly
sliced, 2 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce, 1 tsp. granualted sugar, 1 tsp. kosher salt, 1/2 tsp. white
pepper, 1/4 tsp. MSG, 1/3 c. frozen peas, 1 tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into pieces. You can choose
a siomai of your choice.

Sago’t Gulaman

A refreshing flavoured drink that has a twist of sago that will give you something to
munch while drinking. It is made of 4 cups cold water,1 tbsp vanilla extract, or banana extract.
For the sago ingredients: ½ cup tapioca pearls, 2 cups water. For the gulaman ingredients: 1 tbsp
unflavored gelatin, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 cups water. For the syrup ingredients: 1 cup brown sugar, 1
cup water. The finest drink that you will always remember.

VII. MARKETING PLAN
Capitalization
In order to start up the business, young entrepreneurs used their own savings money in
order to provide the needs of the desired business that they want to built. Mr. Sam Beltran is now
the owner of Siogoi with the help of his friends, Mr. Felix Dayao and Mr. Florence Dayao, who
happened to be both business minded person they devoted their time to help Mr. Sam Beltran in
order to have a progression on the Siogoi business. Expecting to hire some staffs in the near
future that has an excellent skills in handling the kitchen and manage to run the business in a
very successful way.
Marketing Strategies
Flyers and poster are a true form of advertising. In order to gain the customers attention, we
will release these flyers and poster around the Municipality of Guimba. By that way we can
attract many customers around the Guimba. These tools are really helpful when it comes to
advertising our product and catching the attention of our customers. Thus, it has a good impact
on our company since it is the key to the success of the progression of our business that will soon
lead to recognition and success.
Social media marketing is a very effective tool in terms of advertising and attracting customers
to our business services and product. Nowadays, social became a strong platform when it comes
to introducing a product that will help us produce a much higher sales rather than a normal
marketing. We will use this marketing strategy by creating social media page that will help us
endorse our product through the public. With the help of this marketing strategy we can easily
reach out to our target customers and have an fast and flexible communication.

VIII. SALES PLAN


The goal of Siogoi food business is to achieve 2000.00 php revenue per day, to achieve
this target sales it’s important to provide an excellent service for all the customers, and to focus
on giving a strong vibe to build a good relationships with the customers. To attain this skills the
employees which is Mr. Sam Beltran, Mr Felix Lander Dayao and Mr. Florence Leian Dayao is
required to work together as a team and execute an effective marketing strategies, by doing so
the Siogoi food business will achieve the 2000.00 php revenue per day.

IX. FUNDING REQUIREMENTS


The initial capital of this Siogoi food business will be approximately 30,000 php to be
able to support all the expenses and need of this business like, rent, table and chairs, decorations,
electronic equipment, kitchen equipment and cleaning equipment, and also to sustain the
expenses on creating our products such as ingredients and condiments. The initial capital will be
coming from our pockets and our savings to grant our initial capital of 30,000 php. We will also
organize our investor such as family members and friends that has the capability to invest in the
Siogoi food business. The income will be administer to the other expenses, to the investors and
to the management to be able to returned their financial contribution in establishing the Siogoi
food business.
