that is unparalleled. Despite three large meals comprising their day- all of which typically
include at least a cup of rice, they still enjoy extra meals in between. This is where Pastilanan
comes in. Filipinos like having access to a quick bite anywhere, anytime. So great meals have
developed. Although our product is what we can usually found in the streets of local neighbors,
our business attracts individuals by providing a good quality product with a savory taste.

Our main product is chicken pastil, It is a Filipino packed rice dish made with steamed rice

and is a popular, cheap breakfast meal in Mindanao, especially among Muslim Filipinos. In the
Philippines, chicken pastil was found to be very promising as a livelihood for Muslim people.
The chicken on its top is cooked with Palapa, the purpose of palapa is to add spices to its flavor.

6

to make, there is no need to buy expensive machinery and kitchen appliances to prepare the

VIII. The Market

The importance of creating a marketing strategy is to market a vision of how we will be able to
achieve our goals and provide our food production with effective strategies. We expect to
penetrate the segment markets and achieve through mail-order and the Internet. This business
strategy is also an outline to assist us with our budget so that our financial margin is not
overlooked by us. We can accomplish it by going through hard work, being compassionate with
people around us, and accepting or facing all challenges, including a few circumstances. Each
situation could benefit your company because there is a lesson you will learn about it as well as
something you should know to identify the marketing purpose for you. Our ideal customer is
between 5 and 25 years of age, who especially enjoy eating while they talk with their friends. In
this example of the marketing campaign, our approach focuses on creating an initial collection of
Filipino food culture. If we sell products, we will be able to socialize with customers either by
conversation or by dealing and negotiating with them to build ties with the consumer. I'm just
going to say nice stuff for them to believe that not only is the food delicious, but also how the
seller handles them so that they enjoy our company's services.

Product positioning

10
We will position our product as a good price value, which is a position that the competition is not
currently addressing. One demographic group, particularly the elderly, has a specific need for
this product to educate, and we tailor our positioning accordingly. Since our business has not
increased too much interest in pricing our goods, good value pricing provides the right quality
combination and good service at a reasonable price.

Pricing

Chicken Pastil’s Price list:

 PHP 15.00 each
 PHP 150.00 per package (10 pcs)

(Additional PHP 20.00 for the delivery fee)

Attaching value features and services to differentiate the company’s support for higher prices.
Value price is consistent with the view that the optimal selling price reflects the perceived value
of a product or service to resources, not just the cost of producing or providing a product or
service to the company. The value of a product or service is derived from customer needs
preferences, expectations, and financial resources, as well as from the offerings of competitors.
Managers can start setting prices during the production process as part of strategic pricing to
prevent the launch of goods or services that cannot maintain profitable prices on the market. This
pricing strategy enables companies to either change prices or scrap goods or services that cannot
be produced cost-effectively. Using systematic pricing policies and strategies, corporations may
make greater profits and raise or protect their market shares. Price setting is one of the key
challenges of marketing and finance managers, as the price of a product or service also plays a
major role in the performance of that product or service, not to mention in terms of profitability.

Place or Distribution Channel:

Involves a distributor that connects the producer to the costumers:

PRODUCER CONSUMER

As of now, we don’t have physical store yet but you can avail our product to our house if you
wish to pick up your orders. We are located in Purok 18 Lao Street Toril, Davao City, next to
Save O-Matic. Due to these circumstances that we are dealing with and continually growing
numbers of covid-19 cases here in the Davao Region, our company has introduced some
protocols to avoid social contact with customers. So, we agreed that we would sell the product

11
through delivery and pick up only. We only enforce such procedures to ensure the safety of our
customers as well as our employees.

Advertising and promoting:

We will gladly present our company with our chicken pastil. This product represents the culture
of us being the blood of Filipino, we should proudly show our creations, we should always
ensure that we appreciate our own before we move on to other dimensions. If you bought it we
will make sure you're not going to regret it after you taste our product. Our products identify us
as Filipino because Filipino takes care of everything about what and who surrounds them,
Filipino takes care of each other's lives, just like our business, where costumers especially give
priority to their taste for health. Health is the most important treasure you can hold until the very
end, and when comes to the business, the production team is the one who has responsibilities
under likely circumstances. We will promote our chicken pastil through the use of social media,
promote them through web ads or social media advertising and, use flyers to draw more
customers.

The following are examples of what your ultimate business goal could be and the
marketing methods that you might use to achieve it:

 Better establish your brand.

 Increase in sales.
 Get existing customers to buy more.
 Launch a new product or service.
 Increase market share.
 Improving consumer satisfaction.
 Start of the advertising campaign.
 Increase market share.

12
 Retain current profitable customers.
 Make the customer feel more respected.
 Provide exclusive deals to current customers.

We ensure that the company remains fresh and new marketing campaigns continue to provide a
structure for how to categorize metrics from tactical to If the organization has acquired an
appropriate understanding of the customer base and its competitive new marketing marketplace,
marketing managers can make their own key strategic decisions and develop a marketing plan to
optimize the company's sales and income. The selected strategy may aim at any of a variety of
specific objectives, including the optimization of short-term unit margins, revenue growth,
market share, long-term profitability, or other objectives. Price, promotion, product, and location
are the fourth steps for the market and are included in the market development strategies. A
strong marketing strategy came from the whole development team.

13
IX. Competition

One of our main rivals is those businesses that have the same goods and services but lower
prices, and also those stores that live and work in the vicinity of our business. But the difference
between us and the other companies is that Pastilan can offer and provide outstanding services to
our customers. We would then ensure that Filipino goods are of high quality and that they are
well served in clean and tidy packaging. Our items are local street food that everyone is fa,
familiar with, but we have this unique ingredient called "Palapa," which we have added to the
chicken pastil for its aromatic and delicious taste. Also, we will use social media channels to
advertise our goods. Our over, all goods and services are noteworthy, payable, and odd.

Today is the first day of selling our Chicken Pastil. My sister bought all the ingredients for this day. My
mom helped in cooking the chicken and I am the one who’s assigned to prepare and sell our product. We
started making our product at 6:38 in the morning and we were done with the preparation at 7:45 in the
morning, we spent 1 hour and 7 minutes making and preparing our chicken pastil. We made 10 pcs of
chicken pastil but only 8 pcs were sold in the morning. In the afternoon my sister bought the 2 pcs left of
our product. We don’t receive any orders online so we only sold our products to our relatives and
neighbors. So, today is a successful day! We earned PHP 150.00 in our day 1 of selling.

23
Day 2
Today is the second day of selling our product. We started late at this time than yesterday, we started
preparing our chicken pastil at 9:00 am and end at 10:15 am. We made 15 pcs of chicken Pastil. We put
our products in front of our house and started selling, my sister helped me. My first customer bought 5pcs
of it and my second customer is my aunt, she bought 3pcs of chicken pastil and she told us to deliver the
product to their house, so my brother delivered it, and he came back and told me to givee him 3pcs of

pastil in the morning. In the afternoon, some of the employees of Save-O- Matic bought 3pcs of chicken
pastil for their lunch. My mom ate 1pcs of the chicken pastil but she bought it with her own mmoney and
