MANUAL LIFTING PLAN

01-Location

Tank Number SP-17 at SPL Terminal A Keamari Karachi

02- Personal Involved

The activity will be performed in the presence of 1 competent supervisor and by other trained
worker

03-Lifting Equipment’s

Chain block (2 TON), Pulley with rope and fall arrestor will be used for lifting.
All lifting equipment’s is third party certified and inspected

04-Steps of Manual Lifting

1. Ensure PTW & gas testing

2. Ensure area barricading for cordon of the activity
3. Erection of Scaffolding structure on tank roof with railing ( Installation of Chain Block,
fall arrestor and pulley for lifting)
4. Attaching the patch plate with chain block and securing by attaching with fall arrestor
5. Patch plates weight must be less than the load capacity of chain block
6. Chain block Operator must be trained to perform the activity
7. Operator must wear double lanyard harness belt and ensure 100% tie off
8. Competent Supervisor must be available on site during the whole activity
