3. School Pass
● 2 types. 1. School Cheque Pass & 2. School
Card Pass School Cheque Pass:
➔Issued to each dependent child of a Railway servant.
➔Requirement. A certificate from a recognized
school/College/institution of study.
➔The School/College/ institution should be away from
the HQ of the Railway Servant.
➔This pass is issued to undertake up & down Train
journeys for the following purposes.
➔ To submit admission form
➔ To appear in admission test ➔ To join School/college/Institution ➔ To attend examination ➔ For educational tour ➔ To withdraw from school/college/institution ➔ To see parents/Guardians during recognized vacations of not less than three continuous days. ➔ To come back to a closer School/college/institution due to unforeseen circumstances. ➔A parent or Guardian can be included in school cheque pass if the son is below 18 years to accompany him in to and fro journey. ➔A parent or Guardian can be included in the school cheque pass of a daughter of any age to accompany her in to and fro journey. ➔Total number of School Cheque Passes - 6 sets. ➔A separate pass can be issued to parents or guardians to go to school to bring the child or to return to HQ after dropping the child at school. This pass is treated as part of the pass issued to the child. ➔The class of the pass will be the same as eligible by the Railway servant. ➔If both the parents are Railway servants, the School Cheque pass will be issued to any one of them.
Not Admissible: ➔ For Language or correspondence courses (Whole/part-time)
➔ For Study as external candidate
School Card Pass:
● School card pass is issued to a student son/daughter
to commute between the stations of residence of the employee and the station nearest to the school/college.
● The school/college should have been recognized by
Govt.
● A certificate from school/college authorities should be
produced.
● The card pass should not be used during vacations.
● The class of the pass will be the same as per the
Perceptual Objective Listening Quality Assessment (POLQA), The Third Generation ITU-T Standard For End-to-End Speech Quality Measurement Part I-Temporal Alignment
