Reflection Paper
“Aim High, STI WNU! Attending the FB Live “My Titser on Air”

It was a very productive day during the live broadcast of DYHB via Facebook entitled "My Titser on
Air", where one of the former teachers of STI West Negros University was one of the guest speakers to
share his thoughts and ideas about the school. He embraces us with a happy face and flying colors,
reminding us to be grateful to our school. During the interview, a lot of things happened.

In the first segment, Dr. Mark Molina and Sir Allan Pomada discussed the spirit of Christmas, both of
them discussing the Christmas season when the decorations are already set up and ready. According
to Dr. Mark Molina, he encourages his employees to return and some precautionary measures are
mentioned in order to protect his employees in the midst of the pandemic situation we are currently
facing. They always say we will take care of ourselves if we go to malls in a specific Negros location. In
the second part, Dr. Mark Molina introduced the guest speaker, Ma'am Zerry Antoinnette Jacella, and
Dr. Mark Molina asked Ma'am Zerry about her role in the global zone in Korean universities. Ma'am
Zerry responded, saying, "As an exchange faculty teacher from STI West Negros University, her main
task is to teach the Korean students in English, especially in their English conversation," and she
added, "Korean students need to practice their English speaking skills during their free time and break
time." In the meantime, in addition to assisting students, she also works with their director to develop
a students' education program, and they design the program for the students' enjoyment as well as
their ability to learn. Ma'am Zerry also discussed a number of important details.

Furthermore, I have learned that the English language plays an important role in our everyday lives.
As Ma’am Zerry said, "If we go abroad, they make it into a study group in order to build an effective
discussion with others for their own better learning." Through this message, it gives me motivation to
learn and practice more.
