How do binomial system names help scientists to collaborate across the world?

Binomial nomenclature proved to be essential in the scientific community. Through this


system, taxonomists from all around the world can identify a species in unison. Unlike the
common names that can differ from one language to another, a scientific name proved to be
more consistent

How are living organisms classified? Into what groups?

Kingdoms is the most basic classification of living things. Currently there are five
kingdoms-Animal, Plant, Fungi, Protist and Monera (unicellular). Living things are placed into
certain kingdoms based on how they obtain their food, the types of cells that make up their
body, and the number of cells they contain

What are the benefits of classifying living things?

Classifying organisms helps to understand the relationship, similarities, and differences


between the individual type of organisms. It simplifies the understanding of their
characteristics.

What happens if an organism is badly classified.

If the classification of the organisms wouldn't have taken place,then: it would have been
really hard to study such a wide range of living forms present in this world.By classifying
them into groups and sub-groups on the basis of their similarities,we are able to study all the
organisms present in the group together
