Our Planets

Our solar system consists of the

sun, eight planets, moons, many

etcetera. The sun is the center of
our solar system.
We can find eight planets. They are: Mercury, Venus, Earth,
Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, and Pluto which now is
considered as a large body, not a planet.
I’m going to teach you how to learn the order of planets (plus
Pluto) in an easy way. Check this: “My Very Excellent Mother Just
Sent Us Nine Pizzas.” The first letter of each word represents the
name of a planet.
Now it is easy to remember the names, right? I hope it is useful
to you.

a) How many remember the names of the planets?

b) Is Pluto planets do we have?
c) How can we the sun, in our solar system?
d) Where is considered a planet?

7. Answer the questions and compare your answers with a partner.

Follow the example.
