Hello! My name is Lasse. and I come from Denmark. And the question is today,
where would you like to travel?
клік
And for me I'll say the next place I would like to travel is probably South America.
And Why South America? Basically because everytime I travel I like to go and see
something which is really different from what I know, so Europe is like yeah... I've
been seeing many places. I've been to the most important places. I believe. And
therefore like, OK, let's go out and see some new stuff! So lately I've been a lot
around in South East Asia, which is really really beautiful as well. So therefore I
think, OK, next time I'll probably go to South America, because I'm sure it's gonna
be a really beautiful country. it's gonna be very different, but in terms of culture,
and food and stuff, It's just gonna be amazing.
So yeah, probably travel all around South America as soon as possible, that's
what I would like to do. But what about you? Where would you like to travel?

-Hey grandpa I'm reading this article about the ages when people are happiest
клік
-Really? and when are people happiest?
-Well, according to a recent report happiness peaks twice in our lives. The first
peak is one way 23. I'm almost 24 does that mean it's all downhill from here, it's
depressing. Do you agree with that, were you happiest at 23?
-Well, I was very happy at that age. Yes, at 23 a young and optimistic about life,
you have a lot of expectations about what lies ahead. In addition you don't have
any of the responsibilities and worries that you have later in life. And life is fun
and full of possibility.
- Well I suppose I'd better make the most of it and appreciate every moment
then. Anyway the article says that when you're 23 you overestimate your future
life satisfaction by an average of about 10 percent. Then over the next few
decades you begin to feel more and more disappointed about life until you hit a
low point in your mid fifties.
-It says that's the age when you have the strongest feeling of regret because you
realize that the dreams you had when you were younger are not going to come
true.
- I don't agree with that tool when you're in your fifties there's still time to pursue
your dreams
- Yes that's right! You had a career change, it's about that stage of your life, didn't
you?
- Yes, I quitted my job in sales when I was 53 and retrained as a yoga instructor, it
was the best move I ever made! I may not have been as wealthy after that but at
least I had a job that I enjoyed. and I was much much more content than I had
ever been before. So what does it say about after the age of 55?
- Well, interestingly that swing satisfaction levels start to rise again, as you
accept the disappointments in your life, then your state will be in peace when
you reach the age of 69.
- Well it says that 68 year old underestimate their future happiness by 4.5
percent so maybe that's why. As you get older you have low expectations about
life so do you have fewer disappointments and so consequently you feel more
content.
Now I do agree with that. As you get older your expectations change. So what
happens after 69?
-Bearing in mind that I'm almost 80, that hasn't put me in a good mood. I hate to
say it but on the whole I agree that I get frustrated these days that I can't do
what I used to in spite of all the yoga I've done over the years. I'll be interested to
know more about that report. Do you know how many people they spoke to and
what backgrounds they came from because I think it's very hard to generalize
about happiness.
-Hang on it says he is some way. Yes here it is it was based on German data for
more than 23161 individuals between the ages of 17 and 85 and they spoke to
people from all over Germany and the results that they go it's was similar in spite
of the economic and cultural differences between the regions well that's
interesting maybe there is something to it then.
Your IQ or intellectual intelligence, will get you through exams, into university and
also help you solve all sorts of problems in your working life. But it is your клік
emotional intelligence (EI) that will help manage the stress in those situations. So,
if you're someone who often feels anxious and on edge in the modern world —
and a lot of people increasingly do — and wish you were more in control of
things, perhaps it's time you looked into EI training.

Are you good at saving money?
Відео-приклад: посилання
Hello, my name is Bianca and I'm from North Carolina in the United States. My
question is, are you good at saving money?
клік
And I would say that I'm much better at saving money now than I used to be. So
years ago, it was almost as though money were burning a hole in my pocket and I
just had to spend it to get rid of it.
There are other times though when I lived in places with a higher cost of living. So it
was really difficult to put away a sizable nest egg, to build a sizable nest egg. Now
however, I am much more self-controlled, much more self disciplined and I earn
more. So it's easier to save and I would say I've gotten much better.
I actually enjoy it. I enjoy knowing that I have money saved away for a rainy day in
case I need it or I have unexpected expenses. I also enjoy knowing that I have
money socked away just in case someone else needs it and I can help them.
And I would say that a budget has really helped with this. Making a budget and
sticking to a budget, as well as reviewing my finances regularly. Whether that's daily
or every other day or every few days.
That way I can see my trends in spending. I can curtail unnecessary spending. And I
can also see if I've just been making foolish purchases. So yes, I would say that now
I'm good at saving money. Thank you so much for watching this. And what about клац
you? Are you good at saving money?
I used to be bad at ... a higher cost of living have money socked away

-What is the particular qualities that men and women bring to leadership?
Doesn't in fact make any difference to an organization if its leader is a man or a клик
woman? I have with me Virginia Stanton, author of "women who lead". Virginia,
surely in this day and age it doesn't matter that much does it what gender leader
is as long as they're a good leader.
- Well, if you say that you're actually ignoring the differences that a number of
studies have identified between male and female leaders
- Well , some of them will probably surprise you! It's statistically proven that
women are a) more adventurous than happy to take risks and b) more effective
they focus harder on getting the job done
- And I suppose you're going to say then that men are more assertive and
dominant they force their own will on others around them that's a bit of a
stereotype, isn't it?
- Actually the studies show that women in fact are better at insisting on a point
own things being down the way they want them. They tend to be more persuasive
than men.
-I think the important thing here is that where as in the past leaders, male
leaders that is well more autocratic, just do what I tell you to do and don't don't
answer back! These days you need to be more inclusive and gentler in your
dealings with people. It's not even recognize that women who traditionally have
been the ones to organize and manage families or groups of volunteers and
charity organizations have these qualities more and more, these are qualities
that are needed today in the world of business and politics so you see…
