Letter from the Editors

Dear readers,

Our names are Lauren Liu and Jazmyn Delgado, and we are
your Nuntius Editors for the 2022-2023 year. This is our
second issue of the year, and it covers everything from the
Winter and Spring. We hope you enjoy taking a stroll down
memory lane and looking at everything that the NJJCL has
done so far. We are so grateful for the opportunity to
create the Nuntius. Thank you, also, to everyone who
contributed!

Lauren & Jazmyn

Jeopardy Night

On January 13, 2023, Southern Registrar

Luna Rosas hosted the Jeopardy Game
Event, lasting from 5 to 6:30 pm. NJ-JCL's
consul Vincent Fox won rounds 1 and 2,
while our Certamen Coordinator Jade Lee
won round 3!
Funplex

Registrars Jaimin Shah and Luna

Rosas prepared a Funplex trip on
February 24th from 4 to 8pm. In
total, forty-one people attended
across four schools (1 North
Brunswick, 12 Bayonne, 14 Ridge,
10 Franklin, 4 teachers). This
event raised an astonishing $108
for the scholarship fund!
Rocks for Faye
The Rocks for Faye event was hosted on Tuesday, April
25th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Spring service event
worked to raise awareness for Faye Swetlik. Participants
utilized a rock as their canvas to paint or color on. Thank
you to our Pro-consul, Andrew Gu, for organizing the event!
Certamen

Certamen was held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the

Princeton University. The support and work of all the
support staff, participants, and coordinators helped to
produce a massively successful Certamen for all in
attendance.
State Convention
On May 13th, 2023, the 73rd State Convention was held
at Ridge High School. From pre-judged contests to athletic
competitions, convention granted pure enjoyment to
executive board members and their comrades in
