Project Title: A Friends Camping Trip to Glacier National Park

Project Description:

We will be going on a camping trip to Glacier National Park that I will be planning and
organizing to have the best experience possible. I will be planning activities such as hiking,
kayaking, and fishing. I will also plan the supplies needed alongside Zane to take this trip.

Project Objectives

1. Plan all the supplies that are needed for the camping trip.
2. Make a detailed list of all the activities to do while camping.
3. Don’t spend over the budget of $750.00.
4. Reserve the campground through the recreation.gov website.
5. Grow closer as a friend group while on the camping trip.

Project Stakeholder & Roles

Stakeholder Responsibility Role

Jordyn Giarratano Project Manager Plan all activities such as hiking, kayaking, and fishing,
make a list of all the supplies needed for the trip, and
reserve the campsite space from the recreational site.

Zane Gay Project Gather all the camping supplies needed for the trip such as
Assistant/Supplier stove top, tent, bedding, utensils, fishing supplies, chairs,
lights, fire wood, and cooler.

Olivia Meeker Supplier Provide the food and drinks for the camping trip.

Carli Goodman Participant Help to set up the campsite.

Drew Achor Participant Set up the tent for everyone to sleep in.

National Glacier Park Management Supply a campsite that is prepared for attendees.
Organization
Project Scope

Plan and organize a trip, activities, and supplies for 5 people to go camping at National Glacier
Park on a budget of 750 dollars total. The limits of the project is the 750 dollar budget and 6
months before the trip we will need to secure the campsite for a specific weekend through the
National Glacier Park’s recreational website. The deliverables of this project include project
charter before starting the trip, project communication plan during the trip, final project
acceptance once the trip has ended, and team reflection after the trip is completed. The food will
cost about $100 per person. The gas will cost about $20 per person. To camp on the site it will be
about $20 total. The project should include the camping site pass. This project will not include us
having to purchase any supplies besides the food and water.

Project Assumptions

1. Everyone going on the camping trip will help to set up the campsite.
2. All participants will arrive at the campsite on time.
3. Everyone will have fun while doing the planned activities.

Project Constraints

1. We may bring an insufficient amount of water.


2. Unexpected bad weather may occur.
3. A bear eats all the food.
