Greetings from The Indian Heights School!
Kindly note the details of the Clubs, Sports Activities and Performing Arts to be incorporated in
the Academic Session 2022-23.You are requested to go through the list very carefully and indicate
your First as well as Second Preference for the same. Please fill in the Google Form for your
preference as a parent that you would like your ward to take up for the Academic Session
2023-24 on or before March 17, 2023.

It may be noted that once a preference has been given for enrollment in any of the activities, it
will remain the same for this session. Entertaining any such request to change the preference at a
later stage is totally on the availability of the seat in that particular Club, Sports Activity &
Performing Arts.

DECODING 21st CENTURY SKILLS: A GLIMPSE AT CLUBS/SPORTS/PERFORMING ARTS IN VI-VIII

MUN CLUB: Children learn to discuss various global issues as representatives of nations from
around the world, debate and come together to resolve issues through mutual understanding.
SKILLS: DIPLOMACY AND CONFIDENCE
HEALTH & WELLNESS CLUB: Students learn about healthy living style as they discuss, conduct
talk-sessions on themes related to mental wellness as well as physical well-being.
SKILLS: BEAUTY AND WELLNESS

DRAMATURGY: Learners gain knowledge about enacting. Finer nuances of theatre work like
research, content writing (script), props, teamwork and finally enact for theatrical performance
are thoroughly refined.
SKILLS: MASS MEDIA
PEER INTERACT CLUB: The students as ‘Voice of the School’ act as volunteers and sensitize peers
about various current issues and topics. Awareness on various social issues through talk-sessions
encourages collaborative learning.
SKILLS: PUBLIC SPEAKING
Note: The membership for Peer Interact Club is based on aptitude test.
STEAM SPECTRUM CLUB: Awareness on a plethora of linguistic components, through talk
sessions and speaking forum to enhance creativity and collaboration in the learning process.
SKILLS: 21st CENTURY SKILLS- Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking and Collaboration.
EK BHARAT SHRESTH BHARAT CLUB: Students imbibe knowledge on facts about natural heritage
and places of interest across India. The concept of Eco-Tourism, scenic beauty and conservation
of natural resources is explored and redefined.
SKILLS: TRAVEL & TOURISM

PERFORMING ARTS: “If Music Be the Food of Soul, Play on.” The Performing Arts in school is an
excellent platform to unleash the creative musical streak in budding learners. The students have
the choice to choose any one musical skill from Western Vocal/ Instrumental Drum/Guitar,
keyboard and Dance as performing art.

Kindly note membership of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat and Robotics Club’ is mandatory for all
students besides club membership of their own preference.
