Dear Students,
Warm Greetings from Department of Physical Education, GEC HASSAN, Karnataka.
The Department of Physical Education & Sports is happy to organize “Rajyothsava Sports League
2k23” for students of GEC, HASSAN on 25th & 29th November 2023 at GEC HASSAN. Interested
players are informed to register their teams with the below mentioned event coordinators on or
before 25nd Nov 2023.

EVENTS:
1. Short Pitch Cricket (Men) (League)
2. Volleyball (Men & Women) League
3. Ball Badminton (Men &Women) League
4. Throw ball (Men & Women) League
5. Tug of War (Men &Women) (League)

General Instructions:
A. Registration for Ball badminton (Men &Women) should be done individually.
B. Registration for Cricket, Volleyball & Throw ball should be done class wise.
C. Trophies and Medals will be issued to the Winners and Runner-up.
D. Only GEC HASSAN students can participate. Only registered players shall be allowed to participate
in the competition. No players shall be inducted at a later stage.
E. Participants must register their names for the events with below specified event coordinators
F. All the matches will be played on league format.
G. Clarifications regarding the rules of the events can be had from the event coordinators
H. All the team players are supposed to play in proper team attires.
I. The referee's decision shall be final and binding as far as rules are concerned. Any misbehaviour of
any team members will lead to disqualification from the competition. (Decision to be taken by sports
dept./committee)
J. No outside assistance during games is allowed. In case of any confusion/disputes talk to the event
coordinators or sports convenor.
K. Match fixtures will be decided by the sports department and same will reach the players before 25th
November 23.
L. An event may stand cancelled in case of insufficient teams (if below 3 team).
M. For clarifications if any contact the sports director or Sports Association.
