FUN RUN FOR A CAUSE

Accomplishment Report

“In running, it doesn’t matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say ‘I

Sto. Tomas National High School (STNHS) staffs together with Supreme Student Government in
collaboration of CARTC police trainees implemented Fun Run for a cause for the fabrication of computer
laboratory tables of the school.

The activity took place on September 1 2022. Assembly area (5:00 am) Sto. Tomas National High
School Ground. 4km and 8km are the given track for the participants to run. The participants are the one
to choose their choice of km running. The fun run start with a zumba dance that lead by the CARTC
police trainees, this is to warm up the participants to avoid injuries during a run. STNHS faculty staffs,
Supreme Students Government and CARTC police trainees facilitated during the run of the participants
and other facilitators are in there assigned area. Facilitators also gave water and wrist stripe symbols to
the participants and that is the sign that you’ve reached the 4km or 8km.

After the fun run medals are awarded to the first three female and male participants winners in
4km run and 8km run by our School Head sir Danilo Gayao and our Head Teacher sir Edgar Soriano. In
male category in 4km run ( Day adding ni manong Dan) took the 1 st place followed by Cessar Jhon Torres
2ND place a Grade 12 student and 3 rd place Juirneil Paulino a grade 4 students of (School name). In 8km
run Troy Kelly got the 1st place, (Kasinsin ni Darline Buyagan) 2nd place and Johnny Palag-oc got the 3rd
place. In the female category of 4km 1 st place, 2nd place and 3rd place. In 8km 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd
place.

Finishing the awarding of the winner the faculty teachers of Sto. Tomas National High School set
a game Read and answer, where participants are given a printed reading materials about the benefits of
running in health and the facilitators will ask questions to the participants. Winners in the game received
a school materials award.
