BACKGROUND:

The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Committee or BDRRMC is a
committee under the Barangay Development Council that is mandated to manage and a frontliner to
prepare for, respond to and recover from and secure the safely of the public the impacts of a hazard or
disaster and under Republic Act 10121 otherwise known as the Philippines Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Act of 2010.

Objective/s:

The BDRRMC, under the Barangay Development Council shall have the following functions and
duties under RA 10121.

1. Implement policies, approved plans and programs of the LDRRMC consistent with the policIes
and guidelines laid down in this Act;
2. Coordinate other disaster risk reduction and management activities;
3. Conduct Quarterly meeting or whenever it is necessary;
4. Coordinate other disaster risk reduction and management activities.

Budgetary Requirements:

Meals and Snacks 70pax x P 142.00/pax = P 10,000.00
