Memorandum of agreement
Between
The barangay government of capilan
And
Vehicle OWNER-ronald r. taberna
I. INTENT
This agreement is hereby made and entered into by the barangay government of
capelan, , a local government unit with principal place at Barangay Capilan, Lebak,
Sultan Kudrat, Philippines, represented and Management Council Roberto v. hortillano,
and will be referred on this agreement as the BLGU
AND
RONALD R. TABERNA, with principal place at Barangay Capilan, Lebak, Sultan
Kudarat, and will be on this agreement referred as Vehicle Owner.
This agreement is entered into sure that in times of the declaration of State of Calamity,
THE BLGU can use the vehicle .
II. SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT
This agreement is intended to provide maximum care, assistance and
services to individuals and families affected by the disaster as stated on RA
10121, Sec 2, paragraph P and the provision of emergency services and
public assistance during or immediately after a disaster in order to save lives,
reduce health impacts, ensure public safety and meet the basic subsistence
needs of the people affected. Disaster response is predominantly focused on
immediate and short term need and is sometime called disaster relief as
stated on RA 10121 Section 3 paragraph I

III. DATEC AND TERM


a) The Local Sangguniang Brangay has granted Punong Barangay
Roberto V. Hortillano the authority to enter this agreement as stated in
the Executive Order 17 S 2021 dated November 15, 2021 which
remain in effect and in full force.
b) THIS AGREEMENT will become effective upon signing by all parties.
The agreement shall reviewed annually by the parties to determine its
continuation and/or need modification and it would be renewed every
three years thereafter.

IV. GENERAL PROVISIONS


Equipment utilized and services availed on credit under this agreement shall
not be used for any purpose other than as intended .

V. THE BLGU’S RESPONSIBILITIES


a) The Barangay Local Government Unit is authorized to set aside not
less than five percent (5%) or also known as the Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction Management Fund (BDRRMF) of the estimated
revenue from regular sources to support disaster risk management
activities and of this BDRRMF thirty percent (30%) shall be allocated
as quick response fund or stand by fund for relief and recovery
programs in order that situations and living conditions of people in
communities or areas stricken by disasters, calamities, epidemics or
complex emergencies may be normalized as quickly as possible.
VI. VEHICLE’S OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
VEHICLE’S OWNER is cognizant of the need of the people in times of
emergencies and calamities and has agreed to the request of THE BLGU

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have unto affixed their signature on


the date and place above-written.
