1. THE LIVE PROJECT WORK (50 %): Case Evaluation
1.1. Brief of the project: The title of the live project is “Is my family a group or a
team?” or ‘Is my reporting boss and his associates a group or team’. The live project is
done in a group. Each of the group to have a minimum of 10 members and should not
exceed the number beyond 12. However, the project has two components – Individual
and group. After having selected one of the options of the project, each member is
expected to prepare a case in one page concluding whether your family or
organizational team is a group or a team. Submission of the project is in group. The
project will be an evaluation of the all the cases (10-12) detailing are today’s families
and organizations units groups or teams. All the cases (10-12) go as enclosures into your
project report.
1.2. Individual case preparation (one page, 12 fond size) with an attractive title
1.2.1. The structure of the case include: A brief description of the organization in two or
three sentences, description of the team in three to four sentences, functioning of
the team lighting an achievement or a problem in a paragraph demonstrating
whether it is a group or a team. Each of this case will go as an enclosure into the
project report of your team. If there are 12 members, there should be 12 enclosures
to the main report.
1.2.2. Each of the member must make sure to choose a typical group that will represent
the organization for the study and case writing. Please note that your project report
will be summary of the cases written and should be capable of generalization.
1.3. Project Report: Project report is nothing but the case evaluation and analysis of
the 10-12 cases written by each of the member of the team. An appropriate project title
may be given considering all the cases
1.3.1. Framework Development: Each of the project team must develop a Framework and
its parameters to determine whether the families or the team studied are groups or
teams.
1.3.2. Using the framework, analyze the cases through the methodology of case survey to
arrive at detailed analysis. Tables and graphs may be given in this section.
1.3.3. Major findings and conclusions: These derived from the analysis results

1.4. While project marks will be awarded to the groups individuals with excellent and
poor cases will attract additional or minus marks from the group mark overall marks
1.5. Thee soft copy of the report in word format with 3000 words printed in 12 size
font and single space may be submitted to the course coordinator. The final date and
time for submission of the assignment is due on April 15, 2022 before 12:00 (midnight).

2. THE END TERM EXAM (50%)

Will be a multiple choice based test. The date for the exam will be as per institute end-term
exam schedule. Make-up exam if any will be subjective and will not be multiple -choice based.
