Week 1
Notes for the Week
➢ Attended the practice of grade 11 in their upcoming promenade night.
➢ Preparing for the promenade night of grade 11 students.
➢ I participated in the promenaded night and supported my cooperating
teacher by helping the students during the event.
My Goal for this Week
➢ Participate and facilitate the promenade night of grade 11 students.
➢ Prepare my lesson plan.
➢ Prepare my instructional materials.

1. What worked really well this week?

The promenade night event made for a long but wonderful week for my co-student
teacher and me. I also have my lesson plan and the teaching materials ready for my
lessons the following week.
2. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
I did everything I could to help and support the student both before and during the event,
thus there haven't been any to yet. I can tell from what I've seen so far that the students
had a good time that evening and that the event was a success.
3. If I had to pick a phrase for this week, what would it be?
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him

➢ Make lesson plan and instructional materials

students.

➢ Make questionnaire for a long quiz.

My Goal for this Week

➢ Deliver my lectures well and effectively.
➢ Conduct a long quiz.
➢ Perform an opera play.
➢ Record the scores of the students for their written and performance task.

5. What worked really well this week?

I give excellent lectures that encourage greater participation from my students in our
discussions. My pupils did well in their opera play and received great marks on the
lengthy quiz.
6. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
If they had played their opera play outside the building, where the space is open and
people can walk around freely, I believe it could have been more interesting.
7. If I had to pick a phrase for this week, what would it be?

➢ Create power point presentation for the topic Philippine Theater, Cheer
dance, Roles in a theater production and Health Career Plan.
My Goal for this Week
➢ Finish four Power point presentation that will be using during the schedule
of junior high school.

9. What worked really well this week?

The senior high school timetable calls for face-to-face instruction this week, whereas
junior high students, including those in my grade 10 class, had online instruction this
week. My cooperating teacher informed me that the MAPEH topic will not be taught
online, therefore I simply spent the entire week creating my course materials.
10. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
It would have been more advantageous if I had been allowed to teach online, but
because my cooperating teacher advised against it since so few students would be able
to access the internet, I am forced to do what she says.
11. If I had to pick a phrase for this week, what would it be?

students on their report card.

➢ Finish writing the grades of the students on their card.
➢ Finish four lesson plans.

13. What worked really well this week?

➢ Inform the class that they will be having a musical play that will be perform
the following week.

17. What worked really well this week?

Because they actively engaged in my conversation and were able to give me accurate
responses whenever I quizzed them on our subject, I can tell that they assimilated and
comprehended what I had to say.
18. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
None so far since I’d deliver my discussion effectively and my student really learned
out discussion.

21. What worked really well this week?

My students really did a great job in performing their Musical play.
22. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
None thus far, as I have yet to observe that their performance—both verbally and
physically—was genuinely good. Their efforts weren't in vain.

➢ Attended and facilitated the basketball tournament of my grade 11 – STEM
11-A, STEM 11-B, STEM 11-C, ABM 11, and HUMMS 11

➢ Finish the test questionnaire for summative test and 4th quarter exam and
have a printed copy of it.
➢ Finish the TOS.
➢ Inform the students about the coverage of the summative test and
examination.

25. What worked really well this week?

I finished crafting my TOS and test questionnaire easily because of the help of my
cooperating teacher.
26. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
None so far since my cooperating teacher was there to guide and help me whenever I
have questions. I also have an access to printer that is why as soon as I finished my
test questionnaire, I’ve printed it immediately.
27. If I had to pick a phrase for this week, what would it be?

29. What worked really well this week?

I finished computing the grades of my students for the 4th quarter.
30. What could have gone better/more effective? What was missing or needed?
There are students who have lacking activities and it will surely affect their grades that
is why I ask my cooperating teacher on what should I do about it.
