melting
Mat Session: Roleplay eating melting ice cream, and determine the factors that will increase the melting process, such as the sun and warm hands. Explore objects that can melt, and include objects that cannot melt.
Activities:
● Show a range of objects to the student (soluble and non-soluble) and write their prediction of whether the object will melt. The objects are placed outside; the student explores a range of objects that can melt, such as ice cubes and objects that cannot melt.
● Picture sorting- student sort photos of melting and solid object that cannot melt.
12:05 pm – 12:50 pm MUSIC teacher HANNAH will collect the students, walk them to her classroom, and bring them back.
