I am delighted to get an opportunity to apply for the commercial graduate programme position at RWE. I
am currently a Masters in Management student at the London Business School, as having some
experiences in the real life business world during my different internships helped me identify my curious
demeanor to real life problems and my love for brain storming to solve problems in the best possible
manner. I am here to dive deep into the world of opportunities and gain global exposure.

I was recently introduced to your firm and was impressed with what I learned of your firm’s culture and
Working Environment. Interaction, information sessions, and networking events helped me to understand
the firm’s innovative and team-oriented culture. Furthermore, conversations with Amir Dagazau about his
work and personal development inspired me and confirmed my decision to pursue my career within your
organization. I was further interested to apply for the said role as my past experience in the cola trading
firm will come in handy in the secondary market trading of traditional sources of energy along with
providing me an opportunity to be a part of the transition towards the renewable energy sector. To my
understanding, the RWE’s culture provides an environment to cultivate excellence, foster creativity, and
encourage improvement.

Having transitioned between working on the business projects during my under graduation in sectors like
capital budgeting, marketing, financial analysis to having worked as the operations and marketing intern
in family business and a small enterprise in the manufacturing and coal trading sector experiencing jobs
from all parts of the company including market research, SWOT analysis, sales and even brainstorming
on the business opportunity available for the enterprise. This has helped me understand how a problem
can be solved in the best possible manner. My personal interests in the energy sector especially the
renewable sources like the wind energy which is the major front for the company, also the need of the
hour would keep me motivated to work to the best of my abilities and grow over time. I believe my
personal interest and experience in the energy sector will help me adjust better to the company’s plans
and operations.

I place a strong emphasis on building strong relationships with my clients and I would be excited to work
for your firm as I can see that you share this value. I have always been a team player, from being the
Head Boy of the school, to being the vice-captain of the hockey school team; I have learnt to work with
diverse groups with extreme adversities. As a part of the role I have hosted prominent dignitaries
including ministers of the State; strategized and overlooked execution of 10+ events each with an
audience count of 800+.

It was my pleasure to meet your team in person during the Career fair at our university and learn more
about the contributions and operations RWE is making to the energy sector. I thank you for taking out
