The mismanagement of solid waste collection in the cantons of Ciudad Delgado

DESCRIPTION

It is a problem of the utmost importance since poor garbage management results in the
creation of dumps in the open by the inhabitants of these localities, since the mayor’s office or
entity in charge does not propose or create a means of collection for those areas of difficult
aseso to the grooming train. This generates the aforementioned dumps in the middle of rural
areas that affects the land, the health of the population as a whole, which leads to scarcity of
water and different resources due to dirtying the slopes of the bodies of fresh water that exist
in said cantons. While the population complains about the pollution caused by themselves and
the collection of a tax for which they do not enjoy, which is the collection of solid waste by the
mayor’s office Tired of waiting and being in the same situation seems to be a problem without
an answer.

Solutions.

1. A possible solution would be the creation by agreement between those affected and
the regulatory body, in this case the mayor’s office, of a scheduled collection method

2. The creation of a delegation in charge of educating the population on the separation of

organic materials and garbage as such, facilitating the aforementioned collection.

3. That every person residing do their part in the removal of the waste that they have
to start putting into practice a purification to improve health and quality of life.
