Related Literature
According Kwahk & Kim (2016), traditional brick and mortar stores
continue to play an important role in purchasing decisions of buyers today.
However, the many benefits of online shopping have created a significant
shift in the way people shop. Not only people can browse their favorite
stores on the internet, but now they can find and follow a vast number of
stores on social media. Due to this shift, users are exposed to more
products than ever before. This creates more opportunities for purchases
to be made, whether the buyer initially intends to make a purchase or not.
One of the main features of social media is that individual users can share
their knowledge and opinions with those who have similar interests and
needs.
It was also pointed out that the young generation rarely practiced
basic financial skills, such as budgeting, developing a regular savings plan
or planning for long term requirements, based on (Birari and Patil, 2014).
Also, in the literature, there are many studies investigating the relationship
between personal financial management behavior and personal
characteristics such as financial knowledge, Ibrahim & Alqaydi (2013).

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This section presents the locale of the study, the researcher design,
respondents of the study, research instrument, gathering procedure, and
statistical treatment of data.
Research Design
Research Locale
The researchers will conduct this study in the said school to be able
to measure how the financial management correlate with purchasing
habits, since this is the locale where the researchers encountered the
problem.
The respondents for this research will be the selected senior high
school students of Dr. Maria D. Pastrana National High School. The
chosen respondents will provide the necessary information because senior
high school students are more likely to have purchasing habits.
23
Correlational Study Between….
Research Procedure
The permission of the school principal and the class advisers will
be needed to conduct the study. The researchers will explain the
procedure and purpose of the survey. The questionnaires will be
distributed to the respondents and will collect after the given able time to
answer the questionnaires. The results will compute, gather, analyze, and
interpret.

These are the core FMCG products. Any person needs these products
every day. Personal care products are part of the FMCG industry. In other
words, we can say that personal care products are the backbone of FMCG
industry. As time passes away, the demand for personal care products is
