Pursuant to the provision under Item No. 15 of CSC Memorandum Circular No. 3, s. 2001,
otherwise known as the Revised Policies on Merit Promotion Plan, which particularly
prohibits promotion of an employee to a position which is more than three-salary grade
higher than his/her present position except for meritorious cases, the undersigned
requests your good Office for an approval on the proposed promotion of Mr. Arthur A.
Micaroz from Teacher I (Salary Grade 11) to Master Teacher I (Salary Grade 18) of
Kingking Central Elementary School, Pantukan North District, Pantukan, Davao de Oro.
Based on the results of the ranking submitted to the undersigned by the Division
Evaluation Committee for Master Teacher, the applicants have passed through a deep
selection process, taking into consideration their superior qualifications in regard to:
educational achievements, highly specialized trainings, relevant work experience, and
consistent high performance rating.
Minimum requirements prescribed for the position of Master Teacher I under DepED
Order No. 57 s. 1997 vis-à-vis the herein proposed appointees’ qualifications show the
following detailed comparison:
The above presentation shows that the proposed appointee has met the education,
training, experience and eligibility requirements of the position.

Foregoing premises considered, may this request for the approval of promotional
appointment of Mr. Arthur A. Micaroz from Teacher I (SG 11) to Master Teacher I (SG 18),
which is beyond the three salary grade limitation, be impressed with merit.
