II RATIONALE:

In reference to DO 41, S. 2015 RE: SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAREER GUIDANCE

PROGRAM AND EARLY REGISTRATION & ITS AMENDMENTS TO DO 48, S. 2015, of which
the Department of Education had issued enclosed Guidelines on the Senior High School (SHS)
Career Guidance Program (CGP), which aimed to guide Grade 10 students/SHS entrants in
making informed decisions regarding their choice of track in Senior High School. Hence, in
compliance to this order is the regular conduct of Career Guidance Advocacy Program of the school
(now adopted as CGAP).
For this school year, Pantukan National High School – Integrated Senior High School is gearing
up for the conduct of this activity as hereby proposed. Corollary, is to organize an Online Career
Guidance Advocacy Week on August 3-7, 2020. Target participant are the Grade 11 students of
atleast 377 enrolees as of to date. This relevant activity aims to provide them orientaion of the Senior
High School curriculum programs offered by the department, orientation of the courses and career
advocacy of both the Academic and the Technical- Vocational Livelihood Education, and imbue
them with knowledge of the various strands as well as the four prong exits envisons for the Senior
High School graduates.

III. OBJECTIVES:

1. To organize an Online Career Guidance Advocacy Week on August 3-7, 2020 which
aims to provide students with relevant labor market information and career guidance to assist
them in choosing their career path;
2. To orient incoming Grade 11 students about the Senior High School curriculum programs
offered by the department; and
3. To imbue students with knowledge of the various strands as well as the four prong exits
envisons for the Senior High School graduates
