I.Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are able to:
Week 1 Define the important terms of an electoral system ;
Understand the importance to exercise the right of suffrage and
Demonstrate the Dos and Don’ts of a politician or a voter during the campaign, during, and after
the election through role playing.
Week 2 Understand the implications of the existing political party system in the Philippines on the
government of the country;
Make advocacies and how to address them through the methods utilized by the political parties;
and
Define each party as stated in Republic Act 7941 or Party-List System Act.
Week 3 Define the different types/groups in civil society organizations; and
Compare and contrast social movements from civil society organizations using a Venn diagram.
Make an essay on the effects of civil society organizations and social movements in the
Philippines.

Week 4 Demonstrate the responsibilities of a citizen based on the rights written under Article III;
Enumerate the rights, privileges, and responsibilities of a citizen; and
Analyze the fictional cases using the Constitution and the Civil Code in examining each case.
